Default Bouncy Ride After New Clutch Installed?

Hi Guys,
I had a new clutch installed under warranty on my 09 Z. The car now seems to have a harsh ride, always boucing over every little bump. It did not do this before the clutch install. What happened and how do I fix the suspension issue?
thanks

Did the dealership remember to reinstall the rear shocks?

Went back to the dealer today, put car on hoist, suspension looks OK..no parts missing. The tech adjusted the mono spring up..he said he never took that off the car but this adjustment might help. It did not. I showed the tech you can not push down on the rear of the car...it is that stiff. One thought I have is their something going on with the shocks? Once removed and placed back on did the stiffness change? The car does not have ride control.
thanks for any info

Check the rear shock top mounting plate.
It only works in one orientation.
If you install it the wrong way the angle of the rear shock top mount is not correct and it can cause the rear shocks to bind when the suspension compresses.
Good luck

Heading back to the dealer this week...any other suggestions?

(Dealer has no idea what is causing this issue.)

Have them put one of their cars on the lift for comparison to check orientation of reinstalled parts. Make sure yours is the same. I and sure you will find the problem.

Tell them to triple check their installation. Something is wrong that wasn't a problem before. I'm sure it's something stupid, but make them figure it out. Please let us know the outcome.

Another one of those "take it in to get one problem fixed, and leave with another" stories. Sorry to hear about your experiences with the superb Chevrolet dealer's highly trained technicians.

Update
Car in shop today..they called and said one shock is locked out and will not compress. (My Z has 5000 miles on it) Dealer having a new pair of shocks over nighted. Hope this will end the rough ride issue. Thanks to all for your input.

Glad they figured it out. Make sure they put your ride height back to stock.

The ride is back to normal. I measured each back fender from floor up to fender flare, half inch difference between the two. Not sure if this is normal or not? It is good to have a new clutch and rear shocks. The car is fun to drive.

Measurements should be identical side to side - let the dealer know it is not correct - they need to adjust mounting bolts
