Good wright up and very true..Drive this car without the MC off on normal roads and you are looking for trouble..the ZR1 will get away from you very fast.

Love my ZR1. All I wanna do is drive it. Drive with one hand, right shoulder broken and useless after racebike track crash last month practicing for upcoming July 28th event. Oh well...could be worse...
With your shoulder and my foot, we can field one entry.

Good article. I guess I have to differ on one thing and many of you will agree with the article on this. I happen to think the seats are fine. I drove my ZR1 to/from Bowling Green/Houston and yes, I was stiff when I got out for fuel, etc. But I was stiff on the exact same trip driving my Excursion (twice). So it wasn't the seats per se. AND, as far as how the seats hold you in on the track. If you position them appropriately (as taught at Spring Mtn), I promise the seats are going to hold you in pretty firmly. It's all in how you position the seat, how you steer the car and shift and brake.
Regardless, the ZR1 is truly one BAMF!!!!

Never did understand the seat issue - could be an exaggeration of the side bolster component?? The seats are quit comfortable although I will say the seats in my LTZ Silverado are a bit more plush, but there is a whole lot more room to work with in a truck.
Anyone ever drive one of the 350/380 MBZ SL's for a few hours, now there was an uncomfortable seat.

Cool story--thanks for sharing ! I'm OK with the interior, acknowledging that dedicated track seats/harnesses would be better for recurring track use. For occasional track use, and everyday street use, the seats/interior are fine.
