New Z28/Z06 brakes - rotors compatible?
Any word on whether the new Z28/Z06 brakes will fit the ZR1 CCBs?
ZR1
Front - 394mm x 36mm
Rear - 380mm x 34mm
Z28/Z06
Front - 396mm x 36mm
Rear - 390mm x 32mm
That's only 2mm on the fronts and 10mm on the back, but the radius required to clear is half that at 1mm and 5mm. Looking at the top/bottom edges of the caliper there seems to be enough space to accommodate the extra length but not sure about the center of the caliper though.
Not really concerned from a size perspective, since I think the ZR1 brakes are plenty large/close enough and the car isn't as heavy as these other two, but more interested in terms of parts availability/options.
The brake calipers seem to be the same.
