If you're in the market for a relatively inexpensive car that can crack the 200 mph barrier, might we recommend the C6 ZR1?

And I guess there are others that feel slapped together, but those brands tend to be less recognizable.

That being said, I do agree that "cheapest" is the completely wrong word to use. It gives a very negative impression IMO (and anyone that is serious about writing should know that. Unless the intent is to imply a lesser quality I suppose
). Inexpensive, good value, and reasonably priced are all much better descriptors.
