2011 3ZR available from Rick Conti
I just traded this car back to Rick for a 2013 ZR1. It's Supersonic Blue, ebony interior, 5900 miles, excellent condition. If Rick didn't happen to take the 13 in on trade I still would be happily gunning it around.

On the right is the 2011 that I bought from Rick and just traded for the car on the right, the 2013.

I'm happy with the deal. As you know, the market fluctuates but in general they are a hell of a buy when you consider what they cost new just a few years ago and what you get, which is still pretty close to the best Corvette has to offer.

I think you are right about 54 being built. 2013 in general had a relatively low number of ZR1s built in total.

What did he give you for trade? Has he posted his price yet?

Just wondering how-much they think they need to mark up their trades.

Both cars that I bought from Rick I didn't really haggle because I wanted the car. The 11 was clean deal; this recent 13 of course had the 11 as trade. His posted price would be a very healthy profit if he can get it.

This says it all and how many buyers disclose the details of their transactions? Ted Vernon on South Beach Classics is the only one that tells you how much profit he makes on a car.

Folks can speculate all they want about who gave what to who, but in the end every transaction is unique. It involves the motivation level of the buyer and seller at that particular time. As I said, I am happy with the deal that ends up with me owning a like-new 2013 ZR1.
It's like when you ask somebody how they did at the casino. "I killed them. They probably will have to close." Yeah, right.
How did you make out on your new car? "I killed them. Got it for half off dealer invoice. They were begging me to buy." Yeah, right.
