Thanks you all Was in Europe for awhile and Florida. The Z is easier to drive with my foot and shoulder and all, been putting this off for awhile. No rush but sad to have it sit most of the time. Of course I've had lots of volunteers to chauffeur me

Deb,

I was not aware you are having medical-based difficulties driving a car with a manual transmission...good luck with your decision
(and of course, hope you feel better...).

I agree! 2016 there was 11542 ZO6 sold! ZR1 will be worth more in the long run in my opinion.

I had mine up for sale about 6 to 9 months ago. I had it listed at $78K firm because I would have netted enough cash to accept the loss if it sold. Then I got a few offers in the low 70's which made me so nervous that someone may actually pay up I took it off the market the next day when the buyer failed to meet my asking price. I am very happy with my choice.

Don't give it away, they aren't making anymore and many are being enjoyed to the point of abuse.

There's a lot for sale that have had numerous owners and issues
Or beat on and listed as lightly tracked.
Leaving mine sit doesn't make sense either.

Sad to lose one of the long time ZR1 members but I'm glad you're keeping the Z06. Hopefully someone on the forum will buy it to help keep the community alive.

There are a lot of ZR1's for sale, but owners are dillushional if they think the prices aren't dropping at a rapid rate. The 10's just are not selling for mid 60ties anymore. Some dealers are still asking 70ties, its just not going to happen. If you get 60k take it and run, you sell it for more your doing real well.

Guess I'll remain delusional!!!

Deb, I agree with those who hate to see you sell but it may be the best decision for you. It will be hard for me to ever part with mine, I want to do like did you and keep it whatever I may buy in the future. GLWS!

Thanks I'm IN for the delusional. Many multi owner beat on cars out there reflecting the you get what you don't pay for. Mine can sit in my garage before I fire sale The well wishes from everyone remind me exactly how special this car is because of the people I have met

Deb, just bought a 2010 3ZR with 16,850 miles in excellent condition for $64500. It has Corsa exhaust and came with the OEM NPP. That is the only mod.
In McKinney Tx.
Hope this helps.

PS. Saw your ZR1 on Instagram... still lookin good!

Awesome and congrats on the new Beast, post some pics

Mid 60s seems to be a good price for a non beat on, lower mileage, not numerous owners car.

LOL, thank you my camera hogs are al over IG

Deb - sad to see you selling the ZR. If you decide to go through with it - somebody will get a great, well-maintained ZR.

I mostly received dealer offers form the $40's to 50's last year. I was looking to private sell in mid $60's with no bites, so i kept the ZR when I bought the new Z. Sad to see your baby go Deb. GLWS.

My favorite color too. Good luck. I'd keep the ZR. But I understand. The new Z just doesn't have the personality like the ZR1. I get excited when I see one. Z06, not so much. I agree that one day, the value is going to take off. Not many made compared to the C7. You see them on every corner. The ZR being a manual only also I think adds exclusivity.
