Default Cable in Glove Box

So I have this cable in my glove box that is for an IPOD. But I cannot figure out how to get the IPOD to play! Can anyone tell me how to get this to work?

Two ways it will work ... first one hook up the ipod to it make sure its playing and scan through the low fm radio stations (usually 8.89,8.88 ,88.7 ...and so on ) second option if u have xm (im sure you do switch to xm and change station fast u should see it says ipod or usb or something like that where the name of the station should be good luck

Once you figure out how to make it play, you can buy a 30 pin Bluetooth adapter so you don't have to plug it in and you can stream music from your phone.

Would I be able to buy the Bluetooth adapter at Best Buy or online? I got it working so I would like to stream IHEART RADIO or Pandora.

Thank you for this info. I can't say enough about how easy, inexpensive ($18.50), and user friendly this devise is to listen to any music you choose. Stream anything from your phone, Google Play Music, Pandora, iheartradio....

I really don't (didn't) like to deal with Itunes/Ipods/Iphones for getting music through my factory installed PAL.

IMHO Itunes is the biggest pain in the azz (sham) that Apple could have ever developed!!!

Give me my Galaxy S8, with my Google account, along with the user friendly Android operating system, and I'll laugh every time I hear someone cursing and fighting with "backing up their Iphone to Itunes???"

Anyway, the above devise keeps it simple, and saves me from ever having to deal with (I)-anything.

Thank you
