Top Tier Fuel?
New 2010 GS and so far am using premium fuel from Wawa discount stations.
Ethanol aside, how many of you folks are using the recommended Top Tier fuel stations?
I would imagine impact is more long term than by the individual tank full.
Is it worth the 2 or 3 cents difference to go Exxon, Shell, etc?

I use Chevron, Texaco, and QT (Quik Trip) in all three cars.
Chevron and Texaco contain Techron and QT is usually the lowest price around. QT also has Wells Fargo ATM machines so I usually get cash there whle getting gas.
I dont think the 3 cents a gallon matters when you are paying about $3.00 a gallon for the gas.
15 gallons becomes $45.45 instead of $45.00. Not material.

Melting Slicks
I work for BMW which stresses the top tier fuels for two reasons.
One is they have a certain amount of detergents in the fuels to keep carbon buildup to a minumum.
Point two, and more importantly, they gaurantee the ethanol content to be below 10%. Every station in the world around this area has stickers showing fuel can contain up to 10% ethanol, but in reality when you test the fuels I commonly see in the upper teens. BMWs will run like crap with the high alcohol fuels, I have never had an issue in the vette.
