WTT C3 convertible 427/400 Tri-power for C6 convertible
Looking to sell or trade my 1968 Polar White/Gunmetal 427/400 Tri-power convertible. Asking price is $37,750 (offers considered). I would like to TRADE FOR A LOW MILEAGE 2006, 2007, 2008, Corvette convertible with automatic and 3LT package.
My big block convertible is not a restored show car but a VERY nice driver well sorted out with solid frame and birdcage. Tons of money spent on mechanical and electrical restoration. You will see it has the big block radiator and big block power train, most suspension components, and a single fuel line exclusive to tri-power. The odometer reads 92,300+.
This Corvette is documented as a Dealer Code 500––Zone 0 delivery at the Chevrolet Central Office. It was most likely ordered for publicity/promotional use or perhaps a GM executive. The Vette was assembled on 9/8/1967 and just might be the first 1968 Corvette optioned with the L68 tri-power engine and Turbo-hydramatic transmission. Extensive research has not located one earlier than mine.
Options on my C3 are: L68 tri-power engine (rebuilt and matching numbers). Turbo-hydramatic (Code C 68 L ). Positraction (Code AW W\G25 E1). Power steering (big block). Power brakes. Power windows. Telescopic column. AM/FM Delco radio. Headrests. Soft Ray tinted windows (all). Extra parts include original steering wheel. Pass side original dash panel. New door panels. 15 inch wheels and derby caps. Plus more.
For more details and photos, call Larry at 269-962-1788 or email larry@thevettenet.com THANK YOU!

I'm still interested in a C6 convertible (automatic) trade deal with this very nice tri-power big block Corvette convertible. Do you have a C6 to trade?
