Hey Mike,

Shoot me an email if you don't mind. I sent a PM but didn't receive a reply. Serious buyer, have been in the market for the past couple of months.

ddbelack@comcast.net

Thanks
Dustin

Why do people say "if you were closer I'd be all over your vette", or" if it were closer I'd buy it today"?

I bought an 08 vette in Dallas earlier this summer and I just bought a 2011 from Corvettes of Houston and I live in North Dakota!!! Thats over 1,500 miles one way and I drove the car back to Minot from Dallas!!! C'mon if there is a will there is a way, so saying you would buy the car if it were closer is..........

I think it is code for, I would be interested, but I would need to drive it and see it in person to be serious and I don't want to fork over the money to travel there and then not buy it.

I bought my Z06 sight unseen and I will never do it again.

I have some buddies who have seen this car personally. They commented it's better in person than in the pics! Continued luck with the sale bro!

Hey guys,
I'm selling my ZR1. I'm the second owner, originally purchased locally (SF Bay Area) at Putnam Chevrolet. It's all stock. Car has had the 10k mile service done by Putnam. It's perfect and ready to drive for 2012! Located in Woodside, CA.
$80k, let me know if you have any questions. Title in hand.
Selling to pay for more racing, and I didn't drive the car much anyway.. it stayed in the garage 99% of the time. Only put 100 miles on it since I originally made this post in January 2012 and now (July 29 2012). :-)
edit: price changed to 80k.

I bought a C6 coupe and a C6 Z06 both in this fashion, and was very happy with my purchase. Of course, there are always a few surprises... but that's not always a bad thing.

Of course, there has to be a symbol of trust between buyer and seller (or dealership), but even new cars off the lot can have hidden surprises.

Realistically buying a round-trip ticket is at most a hundred bucks over a one-way ticket... or about the same as the gas you'd burn driving it home.

Beautiful car!

I always fly in to see the car in person before I commit to purchase.

Negotiate your air fare in the price. You pay if you don't buy the car...the seller pays if you do. I am thinking that would be fair to the seller....probably not more than $500 in the lower 48. usually by the time you are flying to see a car, you are serious and it is just a matter of laying eyes on it to make sure.
