Default F/S 2008 jsb Zo6 42k obo

2008 Z06 100% factory condition. Second owner, I have had it since it had 6,000 miles. It currently has 28,700 miles. 2LZ model including push button start, heated seats, navigation, heads up display and upgraded suede shift boot and **** installed by the dealer. Interior is 9/10 exterior is 9/10. It needs tires. Car runs perfect, needs nothing. Clean carfax never in an accident or wreck. I own the car and have the title in hand, clean title. I am asking $42,000 OBO. I already have an offer for $40,000 from a dealer here in San Jose so dont bother offering less than that. Book on the car is 47k wholesale book is 40k. Car is the cheapest on craigslist and is by far the cleanest. You can pm me here or call me/text me at 408 702 0884

no you wouldn't. you only say that because you are looking to buy one under its real value. you don't own one so its easy to say what you would take when its not reality. go find one as nice as this for $40000 and buy it. op has a fair price on this car. if you don't like the price move along. op knows what his car is worth. someone with the cash that knows what he is getting will pay the asking price.

Right now if it needs tires it really is a $44.000 car, the dealer knows. I sold a 2008Z with 9,000 mi 4 months ago, in 3-6 months these cars will not bring in the 40's. On the border line now for price. Take the dealers offer less hassle. To be fair this is a good deal for the right person GLWS

Never said I didn't like his price. If a dealer offered me 40,000 for a car when I'm looking to sell it for 41-42 ( he said he's open to offers so I'm going to bet he'd take something like that) without hassle I'd dump it at the dealer as its hassle free and don't have to deal with anyone and the market is going to get soft regardless of what you say.

Thanks for Assuming you know what they say about that.

Default well

the dealer will put it up for sale for at least $46,000. THEY HAVE FAITH THAT THEY WILL FIND A SUCKER,they find them a lot. On this forum its harder. You are correct about the market, despite the denial everyone will want the C7 it happens with each generation change. Trouble is alot of curret Z owners paid too much when they bought their cars, now its time to pay again.

not clear here, dealer is offering 40k?? straight out, here's a cheque??? or trade-in? (which is usually wholesale + they add discount off the new car) straight out, I agree, take it, not worth the hassle.

What gets me is you have a 40k offer but are asking 42k or B.O. ?? what's the point?

good luck anyways

If CA is like NY State and the cost of the trade in is deducted before sales tax is calculated he may be better off just trading the car. If he gets $42K for the car he could lose money just because of the difference in sales tax. In NY State trading in a $40K car for a $75K car gets you a sales tax of $2800 Vs the sales tax on a straight deal on a $75K car is $6000. He would have to sell the 08 for $45.2K just to break even. Needing tires that makes it a $47.2K car for any purchaser which basically puts it right on top of market price. Why go through the hassle to just break even or come out a couple hundred ahead?

I think the price is fair. It's not a steal, but it's not overly high. Mileage is normal for a 4 year old car, suade interior is nice (it'd change the ***** to stock ones, and add them with the sale), plus it's an 08 which gives it a tad more over 06/07 with older panels. Color is arguable, but i'd take it over everyday black.

If my m3 was sold, i'd consider making an offer on this vehicle. I've seen prices for 06/07's go for 36-40k, with similar mileage, but the 08 factor and the suade is what would steer me more towards this one.

I just sold mine for 40K with a cracked windshield and it needed new rear tires too.

It was modded 550rwhp! I really think the C7 coupled with the exhaust valve issue just killed the enjoyment for me.

Good luck with the sale I agree 40K or 42K the ease of a dealer purchase would sway me.

my comment is not about the price, it's about the $2k spread between a supposedly 'offer' from a dealer vs. a hassle to sell private. it's pointless for 2 grand or b.o.
