WTT - 1965 SC Cobra Replica for 2006+ Z06
WTT - 1965 SC Cobra Kit car for 2006+ Z06,
Must pass CA smog - car is currently in CA, Bay Area
1965 SC Cobra - $38,000 (Willing to trade plus up to $5000 cash)
SB100 Legal - registered as a 1965
NAF body, square tube frame. Very good build, thick well made body with original dimensions.
428 CJ recently rebuilt with mild tune, very streetable, never overheats, and has more power than needed. Toploader 4 speed, Ford 9 inch rear.
Brand new black leather interior, seats, carpets, autometer gauges, steering column, steering wheel.
All suspension new, Wilwood 4 piston calipers all corners along with new drilled and slotted rotors. New shocks and coilovers on all 4. Suspension tuned at Roger Krause Racing, scaled and adjusted to perfect cross weights.
This car is amazing, it gets looks everywhere I go, it has plenty of power, handling and braking. I used to have a C5 and I sold it to get into hot rods. I really want to get back into Corvettes and the Z06 has always been at the top of my bucket list. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
-Greg Matthews

I am local and love these cars. Any issues with the car? How old is the build? Do you have a build sheet for the entire car (what went in it)? Was it configured for taller drivers? Looking forward to your response.
Also, does it include side curtains, and top?
By the way...add an asking price or the thread will get locked.

Fair enough. Its not posted anywhere for sale, so I'd be guessing at a hard number. Its whatever the market will bear, right? I'll place it at $38,000. I'm really hoping for a no money transaction, if my wife ever gets ahold of the cash from a sale, good luck getting it out of her hands!!

Response to questions...
The body is a NAF - North American Fiberglass. The company is since out of business. Was based in Arizona and at the time had a very good reputation for a quality build, very thick body and a mold off one of the original cars so the dimensions are accurate. The car is a 20 year old build originally. Rebuilt at least once most recently with latest performance products. I have a box of receipts and paperwork.
I'm 6 foot and I fit just fine. Any taller and you may have leg room issues. The car is mechanically perfect and it runs great. I got stuck in traffic last summer in 95 degree heat and it never missed a beat. Very reliable. I do not have a top for it. Strictly a fair weather California car that doesn't see rain.

A few interesting trades offered, thanks. Please remember it needs to be smog legal in California. I'm also willing to put some cash in with the trade, up to $5000 on a nice Z06. Let me know what you have. Feel free to shoot me an email with questions.
