2006 Z06,Mint,Black,Heads,Cam.low k Canada
Hello guys,
I have a mint black 2006,Z06 for sale.
I am the second owner.
20163 Miles
Black w Comp.Grey wheels.
2LZ car[Nav,heated seats]
Red Seat Bolsters
All orig.manuals,dvd,s,window sticker cargo net and 2 mint key fobs.
Car has never been hit, scratched ,int mint,orig glass etc.
I purchased this car in 2012 from the original owner in Wa.state.
The car had 9000 miles on it,and other than the oil nothing was changed on this car!
The first owner was a true Corvette guy and was making room for a new ZR1.
I drove the car for the summer of 2013 here and there,and simply fell in love with it!
First thing I did was install a K-N,intake and Comp.Grey wheels[actual GM Speedline wheels]and New Nitto 05's.[sensors intact and work fine]
I installed the PAC I-pod interface as well
By Spring of 2014 I wanted to check the heads and upgrade the power.
I took the car to Tom Wong.
Sure enough heads checked out of spec.I had no idea,car ran perfect,no smoke,clean plugs...
Wongs Performance was first class service from beginning to end!!
Tom Installed...
Lingenfelter ported and milled[035]heads.Ferrea Valve
Toms own custom grind cam-[650 lift,250ish on the exh.110]
160 therm.
Kook's 17/8 long tubes w catted X-Pipe
Along with all the misc.items that go along with this upgrade,[timing set,pushrods,upgraded valve spring,plugs etc]
Any one that know's of Wong's performance will back me in saying he does great work,and will only use the best of parts!
On the Dyno with stock axle back it made 585[589 after a cool down]Mustang Dyno.
Tom also lowered the car a bit[stock bolts]
Summer of 2014 I installed a Corsa Axle back-Wow car really woke up and sounded great!I never did re dyno the car...
Since the work[or before]car has given me Zero problems!
It runs incredibly well,and sounds very mean!
Car has never been abused and has 'no stories".
fresh synthetic fluid in both tranny and diff.
I feel funny saying this but I just don't have too many pics of the car.The 1 pic I am posting is before the car was lowered[and my storage license plate-lol]
I do have some sound clip,I can try and upload those,or would be easy to email to someone.
Im sure I left out some info,but feel free to ask!

And it is a little tough to keep up with the dollar moving around.So maybe you and I are both a little right and a little wrong.
But at any rate to answer your question more directly.No I don't expect 55k CDN for this car.

I'm assuming you have documentation of the head work and everything else? How much would it cost, or, what is the procedure to get it back into the US? Thanks!

Lots of Forum members in the west coast area use him.If someone was serious on the car I would suggest calling him.
It cost $600[us funds] to Import the car back to the US.Remember this was originally a US car so nothing needs to be done to the vehicle.
Much like when the car was exported from the US,the fee involves paper work, lien check,if the car was ever stolen etc.
Right now with the US dollar being worth so much more than the Canadian dollar,there are hundreds of Canadian cars going south every day.

Bada$$ Z! What is that badge below the Z06 badge and can it be removed? When the heads were done, the exhaust valves and valve guides were replaced right?

The heads are Lingenfelter LS7 heads.Yes fully ported and all head work done

At 0.8 exchange rate it's around 49000can$. A great price for what looks like a well sorted car. Even for us north of the border. GLWS!

I was a little worried at first, I bought the car site unseen, and wired my money to rich, this is my absolute dream car, it arrived better than I had expected after a long haul, and a drive through the rain.
Rich was truly a genuine guy (which you don't find much in the states anymore, at least not Cali) he stayed in contact with me throughout the whole process, never once did he dodge my calls, he answered all my questions honestly, and this car is a frickin beast just like the add states. I can not express how happy I am with my purchase, and with the way he handled it, I wouldn't have any problem purchasing anything from him again. Truly a standup guy!
