Good deal for a 2006?
So I found a 2006 corvette for $26750 on craigslist, owners states: "I have an immaculate 2006 corvette. black on black with Z06 rims. The vehicles only has 38,300 thousand miles on it. the car drives and runs perfect all oil changes under 3000 miles with fully synthetic oil! I have all the service records for this vehicle. It is a 6 speed (not automatic). rarely driven. the car also has an upgraded stereo system and a few upgrades such as exhaust and intake."
I checked the vin number with the GM website and there are no service records. Also checked on autocheck and this is what came up: http://www.chilsonwilcox.com/autoche...hicle-glossary
There are some gaps in autocheck you guys think I should be alarmed by that and do you think $26750 is worth it? This will be my first time buying a vette so any advice will help! Thanks

Melting Slicks
A buddy of mine up in Phoenix bought his very loaded 2007 3LT coupe with 7,700 miles on it back in the summer of 2011 from the original owner for $27k so nearly that for a year older low option 3 owner coupe with 38k miles seems pretty high.

Price is good. What kind of exhaust? That can run a lot of $$ and it's a must. How are the tires? The tires should be new around those miles. If the car is in great shape and the tires are new and it's a nice exhaust go for it. A big selling point that helped me buy mine was brand new BFG KDW and Corsa's plus it was almost like new.
