2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 2LZ 434LSX TT 4L80E
For sale here is a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 2LZ package, Velocity Yellow exterior with black perforated leather interior, Bose sound with Navigation, heated seats, all options available for the model year and only 16,000 miles. This car has been fully professionally modified with automatic 4L80 swap, built motor and twin turbo kit. Currently it is set up for street driving and low boost, makes 1000 wheel horsepower on only 10lbs of boost. I put over 2000 trouble free street miles on it. It can also be retuned for more boost and more power (car is built to handle alot more), but this is already plenty of power for a street car for me. This is a private sale, Rebuilt Illinois title in hand.

Before declaring I am interested in the possibility of buying this beautiful vehicle, can you elaborate on the rebuilt title? Obviously, the car was in an accident to incur a rebuilt title status. How bad was the damage and what did it entail to get it repaired to its current status? If you have any before and after pictures, that would be great as well since, visual might reduce concerns regarding the car/damage?

awesome car man it really is. im just afraid of the title status. about 4 years ago i bought a rebuilt title vehicle. and i went through a mission to keep fixing the ride quality. also to resell was a hassle. its tough to see this title status on a bad *** vette.

Car has been fixed almost 3 years ago, has been running trouble free since then. If it was a clean title, the price would be a lot higher, if you know what you are looking at this car has way more in mods than the asking price, this is a turn key monster

We originally built this car. I saw it after the crash it was not bad at all. Customer crashed it at the race track. It was minimal front end damage. I actually tried buying the car but the Original poster bid higher than me haha Car was no budget spared.

I'm in the market for a C6Z and liked this one up until the salvage title declaration.
"Not too bad" and "it's got a salvage title" don't usually go together.
Any chance anyone has the original repair breakdown from the body shop?

I do not have the original estimate as that is previous owners information

Sorry to seem jerkish. I'm not trying to be. Just trying to understand the car and it's pretty clear you're doing your best to be open and honest.
Usually, you start with a salvage title and after the fix they brand it rebuilt. In any case, as you mentioned: to get a rebuilt title it goes through a reasonably through inspection to get it back on the road, so obviously you've jumped through all the right hoops.
I'm out, but it's a beautiful car. I hope she sells soon.

Very Nice looking car and if I was in the market, this would make a short list!
Here's a suggestion that might or might not work out. You could possibly pm Fran above and ask him who the old owner was since they originally built the car. He had to bill someone and might be able to help out.
Just a thought and good luck with the sale!
