Az- 2006 c6 z06 h/c 520whp 42k miles- $36,500
Up for sale is my 2006 C6 Z06. I purchased this car in April of 2015 in Denver, CO. Nothing but the highest quality parts were used for this build. This car is very fast and mechanically sound. It has a clean title. I am selling the car because I need something bigger (I miss my CTSV). The Z06 has been great to me but I need something with more than two seats.
This car sounds and looks great, but the paint is not perfect. As with most Z06's the rear fenders have been chipped up a little bit from rocks, but you have to be pretty close to the paint to see them. There's a few fine a scratches here and there, but nothing major. I'm sure a good detail or paint correction will take care of mostly all of the markings. The front bumper has been wrapped to protect from rock chips, along with the headlights, quarter of the hood, partial fender, rocker panels, and mirrors. The clear bra on the front bumper is pretty marked up, but thats what it's there for. The paint underneath looks perfect.
It has been lowered all the way on the stock bolts so it looks great sitting or driving down the street. All windows are tinted and front windshield is tinted with Suntek heat resistant tint. The tint does not affect the Heads Up Display at all.
I installed the Centennial Corvette Alcantara steering wheel which feels much better than the stock leather, and all of the gray interior trim has been wrapped in black vinyl (not a perfect wrap job because of the shape of the piece but looks MUCH better than the gray trim). It currently has the OEM wheels powdercoated bronze by AZ TOP COAT in Tempe. I have two extra rear reproduction Z06 wheels that can be included in the sale. They have tires that will need to be replaced.
Current tires were installed about 5K miles ago.
285 Hankook Ventus V12 EVO 2 up front.
345 Nitto INVO out back.
Quick mod list:
Texas Speed PRC 265 Heads - Titanium intake valves (by Trick Titanium), Stainless Exhaust valves. These have the TSP .675 dual valve springs.
GM MLS head gaskets were used.
ARP Head Bolts
Comp Cams 7.850" pushrods which gave .0090 lifter preload.
Texas Speed LS7S Cam - 242/250 duration .650/.650 lift 114 +3 (runs very smoothly. It can putt along at 1400 in 6th just fine)
ARP Crank Bolt
Aviaid Oil Tank Baffle (keeps oil from burping into intake, helps separate air and oil to resupply oiling system more effectively, keeps oil from climbing up the tank walls away from the pickup during high G turn)
Pfadt Tri-Y Headers with Hi Flow 200 Cell Cats & Cometic gaskets
Modified stock mufflers with Mild to Wild switch linked to garage home link on sun visor
Bilstein DRM valved Shocks
Pfadt Poly Engine Mounts
Pfadt Poly Transmission Mounts
RX Catch Can
Elite Engineering Tunnel Plate to help with center console heat
Eagle Eye LED tail lights
The car has to be heard in person to truly get a feel for it but I have linked an idle clip right above this text. With the exhaust valves open this car turns heads everywhere I go and I always get asked what is done to the car, but when the exhaust valves are closed I can go in and out of my neighborhood without disturbing my neighbors too bad. It was tuned by Nic D, and made 520/465 on a 105 degree summer day. I'm sure I am missing some things so feel free to text me with any questions (I work during the day so text is best). The car is just under 42,000 miles, and is daily driven so the miles will go up. I am asking $36,500- no trades. FOUR 8 ZERO- FIVE 7 SEVEN- 6 SEVEN SIX 6

Got it. Yeah, V1 is 04-07. V2 is 09-15. I had an 09 auto and loved it but missed having a manual. Good luck with your sale!

Had a question. So is there a switch to quiet down the exhaust? If so, do you have ever a sound clip? For us that live in California and have strick rules for smog. Do you know if this will pass the sniffer and visuals?

Honestly, I would assume it passes smog because it has cats on it. Not too sure, because I've never had to worry about it here. I can try and record a video of idle with the exhaust valves closing, but that's all it is. All you will hear is the car get quieter.
