Not gonna happen. Im building a salvage 2013 3lt GS and it will have over 25K into it by the time its fixed properly. You'r more likely to get 05-08 base cars with upgrades in that price range.

A C6Z for under 25k...? Unless you're looking for something that needs repair or are willing to buy a high mileage salvage car you're unfortunately way off base.
If you're willing to increase your budget to low 30's you'll have plenty of options if you're patient and are willing to expand your search beyond your immediate area.

I looked on here every day for 8 months for a C6Z. I can tell you that this site has the best deals over eBay, Autotrader, Cars.com, Craigslist, and other places I've looked at. The cheapest clean title Z or GS I ever saw was 28K for a 2007 Z06. It was loaded...but it had 128,000 miles on it. Not sure how much it actually sold for though. I saw another one with over 100,000 miles on it for 30K. That was about it during the 8 months I looked.
Like the others said, save your money and increase your price to the low or mid 30's. You can find some very nice examples for that price range.
Here is an example:

Decent mileage, bolt-ons, heads addressed/upgraded, and cammed. Great price.

I think next winter the type of car that is 32k now will be 25Kish then. Seems like at that price point there will be a large enough pool of enthusiasts that can stretch and afford (or just afford) the cars that the price will stabilize for some time. Of course I was probably thinking the same thing about C5Zs and I am surprised how affordable they are if your not shopping for a low mileage garage queen.

The 2007 Velocity Yellow C6 Z06 is double posted with a price of $24,500 and $26,000. Sounds too good to be true or desperate need of $$$.

I think homeslice will have to look for salvage titles or Z's that are beat to hell. It seems like even C5 Z's hold their value when they aren't salvaged etc. A 500HP super car wont go into the teens unless it is on it's last leg or it's a salvage. C5 Z's with 50K+ on the clock go for over 20K, Z's are desirable cars no matter what the generation.

I checked on the $24,500 C6 Z06 with high mileage. Was thinking of purchasing it.

Owner says there is occasionally a check engine light and a constant airbag light on so may not pass required Texas vehicle inspection as is. Might be a good vehicle for the mechanically inclined which is not me.
