Default *** SOLD***2007 Machine Silver Z06 with 33,XXX – $50k in mods

2007 Machine Silver Z06 with 33,XXX miles – $50k in mods

***SOLD!!**

The car makes 564rwhp and 523 ft-lbs rwtq. cam, intake, heads package. This car sounds amazing and is prepped to be a track monster as well as a head turner on the street.

Reason I'm selling is because we just had our first kiddo about 4 months ago--don't need to sell but it's the practical thing to do.

Below is a complete list of modifications as it sits today. LG Motorsports did all the Mods (except for c/f roof vinyl wrap), I have about $50K in receipts. I’m selling because we just had our first child and while I don’t need to sell it, it just makes sense! Bobby/Anthony at LG knows the car well if you have any questions. I have emailed Anthony several times and he has been more than willing to answer any questions about the car.
The car has been very well taken care of, freshly detailed, all fluids changed 4Q 2015 (has not been driven enough to need them again) and car is track ready. Tires are nearly new and the car has the stock pads on, but comes with track pads that probably have at least one good track day left on them (very squeaky).
The car has some minor imperfections, all of which are hardly noticeable and do not affect the car’s performance in any way but I do want you to know what you are buying. It has a small blemish on the hood (pictured), some curb rash on the right side of the front splitter (covered with a C/F wrap that is not noticeable and pictured below), and the inside of the wheels have some minor damage due to me not knowing (sigh) the wheel studs were longer than stock and I put stock lugs on when I switched the wheels so there was slight rubbing, but I did not drive the car much during this time. Local tuner said there is no safety issue and the blemishes cannot be seen unless you take off the wheel and look at the inside. It also has some small chips in windshield, but they did not bother me at all and they are not spreading.
I have never tracked the car, but the 1st owner did. I don’t have a lot of details about the track time, although the 1st owner was a CF member and well known.

That's Jason's old car if I remember right...if so I have known the car since it was pretty much brand new.

Congrats on the little one on the way!

All these lovely mods but nothing was done to the transmission?

Was this car on ebay some time last year?

I believe the transmission is rated up to 650 rwhp stock, but I could be wrong on that (any experts feel free to chime in). I know the LG folks would've recommended any upgrades if they were necessary to the build as the first owner really spared no expense on this as you can tell...

I put the car up briefly on ebay right after I bought it last April with a high markup just to see if any ebay folks would bite, had a few offers at 43k, but ultimately I bought it for the track and wanted to keep it unless I got a really high offer for it.

He was driving it to and from work, and HPDE's a few times a year. To my knowledge the car was never drag raced and honestly the trans should be more than able to handle this kind of power without any issues.

If there would have been any upgrades it would have been to swap it to a close ratio ZR1 gear set.

What's going on with the carpeting on the side of the console?

How difficult would it be to remove the wrap on the roof?

tranny is good for that power level .... clutch? you run it till it smokes then do a zr1 clutch which is not very spendy, rear diff comes into play when you are doing 1/4or 1/8 mile but i see nitto invos on the car which are not sticky at all so my personal opinion buy with confidence this is an awesome build

I noticed the carpeting as well--I think the detailers may have loosed it up when they were vacuuming. I didn't notice it until after when I was taking the pictures. The carpet had to be cut for the traqmate to be installed and maybe for the radar detector as well.

I have never removed a wrap before but I would think it would be easily done.

Unless someone changed it, it should have a Centerforce DYAD clutch which can handle 1300 rwtq without to much of an issue. I would never put a ZR1 clutch in to replace that.....

Thank you for the write up! This car is simply stunning and extremely mean at the same time.

The curb rash is actually on the splitter, not the wheels and the imperfection was covered up with a CF wrap and is not noticeable.

Austeo23...lifetime mustang guy here that just joined the forums because I'm looking to change over and get into a Z06. Been looking at cars for sale here for a few days now and have some interest in your car.

I live in Oklahoma City (used to live in Tulsa) and was thinking of coming up and taking a look next weekend (in Colorado this week for biz) if still available. I can't send PM's...given this is my first post.

I'm a serious buyer...currently in my 2004 Cobra, 620rwhp / 608 rwtq that I've been building the past 10 years...but just ready for a drastic change I think. I need to get rid of this first, or I won't have garage space for both...but I will still pull the trigger on the perfect deal and figure that out later.

Let me know if available to show next weekend (july 23 or 24) (if still in your driveway of course).

Thanks,
Dustin (DropTopSnake on SVTPerformance.com)

Sorry I haven't gotten back with you man. I had an extremely unfortunate and surprising family incident late last week that has taken top priority for now. As much as I want to make some moves with my "hobby car" situation, it's probably going to be a few weeks before I can put any focus back on that.

Good luck and if in your garage in a few weeks still when I get this family stuff behind me...a z06 will be back on my priority list.

Regards
Dustin

Very sorry to hear about your family incident--I hope everything is OK. Get back to me when you feel the timing is better 👍
