WTB: c6 Zo6 around $30k
#21
A 10yr old c6 Z06 vs the newest vette with warranty...both have their ups and downs. To each his own, I guess.
Honest question for Faster; why are you selling your Z?
To get out of the vette world? Or to buy a c7?

FWIW, I'm close to finishing a deal on a one owner, perfectly mint 09Z cyber grey with 30k miles, 2lz, stock for $37k. Not the 'best' deal but there is value in one owner, perfectly maintained, cars. I think if this was a 3-5 owner car, which a lot of Z's are, a great deal would be 34-35k-ish.

A base car is underwhelming by comparison, even if it's newer. But C7 Grand Sports are heavily discounted now, going for between 45k and 50k. Dealers especially are desperate to unload them. If you can get a C7GS for 45k, you'd be loose in the head to pay the same for a C6 Z06. It's only marginally slower than a C6Z (at a light - it's faster on a circuit), it has an interior that's leagues above, and it comes with a warranty. A C6Z isn't priced to move unless it's 35k or less, no matter what year it is. Especially since most C6Zs require a ~5k investment in the heads immediately after purchase. The cars that haven't had the LS7 issue fixed should be selling for LESS, not more.
