I do a lot of "window shopping" on the C5,6,7 for sale sections and to me your Corvette is the most beautiful of all listed and I think fairly priced. It is absolutely breathtaking!

$68,000 is a great deal for a 4,000 mile ZR1. I've been researching these cars and this is the color I've been after. This car will complete my collection of 15 Corvettes.
I will be in Houston this week on business and would like to purchase this car for the $68,000 asked. I am a cash buyer and will have to make arraignments to have it shipped back to NY.
Please PM me ASAP so wee can get together and make this happen in the next few days. I'll be in Texas until Saturday so time is of the essence.
Thank you,
Joe

No question that this is a really nice car, and I was looking at it, but I'm going to have to make due with my 1 car collection - ha! Good luck putting the deal together.

joeZR111, look $68K is a great deal but I am willing to drive the car for you to anywhere in the lower 48 for just gas money. Hell, I'll pay for the gas.......
Seriously....absolutely beautiful car! Hope it works out for both of you.

Someone's going to get a great deal if it sells in the 60's.
You did a great job of photographing that car in the perfect setting for that color !!! One of GM's better colors.

Fair deal IMO on a stunning example of a low mileage ZR1.

Sorry, I'll have to pass.
Found the same exact car that was just traded in to a dealer. Similar mileage (4,200), embroidered floor mats and suede package, all paperwork, one owner which is what I was looking for.
Car was $65,500, got it for $62,500 with an extended GM warrantee and they are splitting the shipping with me. Wired money to their bank, paperwork all done all in a matter of a few hours. Car will be in NY when I get home.
Now that's a smokin' deal.. Pays to shop around, there are good deals if you look.
GLWS, hope you get it sold

When the new 2018 ZR1s come out watch the 2009-2013 ZR1s drop in value.
I keep seeing them listed and relisted and not selling, most owners hold to their price and refuse to negotiate.
Financing is also difficult on a 4-8 year old $70,000 used car. The insurance premiums on that car plus the monthly note makes the 2009-2013 ZR1s out of reach for the average guy.
Not to many people have $70,000 disposable income laying around to pay cash.
Still interested in this particular car, Mark has my (cash) offer.

Agreed. Although I was going to go with collector car insurance like I have on my Z, which is $518 a year. I got the bug to buy a nice ZR1, but have backed off due to the cost. I have a 2006 Z06 with 2,500 miles on it that appears to be faster than a stock ZR1 as I have driven both. My Z is modded, but with the stock cam. It is just pristine and I just got to thinking why do I need a ZR1. But I wanted the luxury of having the two best Corvettes from the C6 era as collectables. And I will probably have the ZR1 massaged a little to get it over 700HP. The ZR1 that I drove felt a bit flat compared to my Z when you initially put the pedal down. The NA 427 with the mods is just more responsive, but once the super charger kicks on the ZR1 that thing takes off like a bat out of Hell. Anyway, I am hesitant to spend more money, have another car payment, insurance, etc. I think I will wait a few more years and see where the prices go. It looks like they are headed lower.

I have been shopping for a little over a month, and it appears that black and red(s) seem to command a little less value when all things are equal. I could be wrong, but I feel like that is what I have been seeing. Metallic Red may be a different animal as I have not looked up the production numbers yet.
Regarding the 2018 crashing the C6 ZR1's value, we'll just have to see. I was shopping for a C6 Zr1 and a c7Z and I just couldn't fall in love with the C7 body style. The 18' ZR1 appears to have a lot of those similar looks to the C7Z (pretty close). To each their own. Steep price on the new ZR1 may hold current C6 values level.
Regardless, GLWS. I think your price is very close from all the shopping I have been doing.

Beautiful car!!
Just to share...
At some point while selling my last three vehicles that I've had via private sale someone has always come along and tried to tell me that I was asking too much.
In all three cases, one of them being a 1996 LT4 Vette, I sold all for near my original asking price. If you can can market your car properly with great pictures and present it in professional manner you can will get a buyer to appreciate the car. There is no reason that an immaculate / perfect car shouldn't fetch a premium price above what some would call market.
As a corvette lover I think it's sad when people say that a car they haven't even seen is not worth the price that a seller is asking. We should be asking for all the money our cars are worth especially when we know they have been meticulously maintained and are worth more than others that may have sold and may not have been owned by an enthusiast.
Good luck with the sale! Get as much as you can as it will help all of us that may sell a similar Vette in the future!
