Default 2011 Crystal Red Metallic ZR1 4000 Miles

SOLD !! 15-July-2017

After much debate I've decided to sell my ZR1 as I’m just not using it enough. Options include the 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, Chrome Aluminum Wheels, Crystal Metallic Tintcoat, Factory ZR1 Indoor Vehicle Cover (still in the box), a second indoor cover (in use) and finally an Escort 9500ix Radar Detector installed with a BlendMount billet Aluminum Radar mount.

It's stored inside uncover, it's never seen rain, been tracked, raced or abused.... at 4000 miles I guess it qualifies as a Garage Queen. I’ve meticulously maintained this ZR1 with an open check book, there are no flaws, not even on the Carbon Fiber splitter.

It's factory stock and I have all the original documentation from the factory and dealership including welcome letters and a laminated window sticker.

You will not find a cleaner, low mileage, better maintained ZR1.
Thanks for looking, PM me if you're interested.

$68,000

This is a total tangent, but just looking at your car......and of course this is just my lowly opinion, but I truly think the ZR1 (and in general the C6 widebody Vettes) have such classic lines that the C7s can't match. I would take this car in a heartbeat over a new Z06. One, because I just LOVE the looks, and two because of how rare they are compared to a C7 Z06, which I see all the time (NEVER see ZR1s driving around). Someone buy this car so I can stop dreaming about it!!!!

I'm with you !!
I believe the C6s will be one of those body styles that will stand the test of time.... I had an 08 VR Z06 at the same time as the ZR1 and I found both were awesome vehicles for different reasons...wish I had never sold it.....

Now you guys have me questioning what I'm doing with the ZR1 !!

I wrote this in another thread, but a few months ago I sold my 09' ZR1 to get a Gen 5 Z/28. I love the Z/28, totally unique car, badass to the max and for a pure raw visceral driving experience I don't think anything can touch it.....however, it literally made me sick to my stomach when the new owner drove away in my ZR1. I thought to myself, "What the hell did I just do!" The ZR1 is such a magnificent vehicle in every way. It was my DD and was so smooth, but was a beast when I wanted it to be. Gorgeous, classic looks that IMHO cannot be matched. I still think about that car and how much I loved driving it. The only thing that gives me comfort is seeing posts like yours. Those of us that buy these cars are enthusiasts who take care of them like nothing else. I know I'll have another ZR1 someday. It's out there, a car like yours....immaculate and ready for the next person to enjoy. Man oh man your car is just so gorgeous!!

Yes, I had some interesting experiences when I posted my 08 VR Z06 for sale on this forum. Ultimately sold to a local enthusiast via Auto Trader ad.
I've posted my ZR1 as I believe there is another enthusiast out there, like me, that appreciates these vehicles and has gathered significant knowledge from this site. Plus it makes my stomach turn every time I drive by a used dealer lot with a Z06, ZR1 (or equivalent) sitting there for sale.

Thanks for the feedback guys, interested in your opinions on pricing....and appreciate you (and others) taking this seriously.
I looked at NADA values (Classic Car), Auto Trader and Cars.com comps to set my price, what do you think it would sell for and how did you arrive at this number (This forum or ??)

There are not a lot of these for sale, so it is hard to price but it doesn't look unreasonable based on others with the same options, mileage, condition. Maybe closer to retail price but it is a smaller market too.
Buyers looking for a nice low-mileage example don't have a lot other choices.

Sir, I would say that you are at the top for your asking price. That being said, as a potential buyer looking for a CRM or Carlisle blue (2012 X2) ZR1, I would not hesitate to make a reasonable offer/negotiate for a pristine, 4K mile, supercar. Cars "like" yours are going(asking) from $67K-$71K> Cars similar to yours are going(asking) for $61-63K. Its yours and you can ask whatever you want---if the seller and buyer are happy, its a good deal. Best of luck on a BEAUTIFUL car.
my point...***If this exact car was in Victory Red, I would not be interested for $50K. Its not what I want***

No question that the C6 ZR1 and C6 Z06 wide-body cars look bad *** from the rear of the car and have classic lines/looks. GM got it right on the design. To bad the interior didn't quite live up to the exterior.

To the last 5 or 6 posts. This is a members FOR SALE ADD not a thread on what do you think his car is worth.

Why do some people think its ok to sh*t on others.

Hey Mike
This one is actually on me, after a couple of comments I thought I may not have done my pricing research properly, so I requested feedback. Thanks to an obvious fellow enthusiast !!

If pricing get's crazy I'll do what most are recommending - just keep it !!

Normally, I would agree with you, but as the owner stated, he did specifically ask for pricing feedback.
Maybe try reading the thread next time.

As for the car itself, I think it is beautiful and someone is going to get a ZR1 that is basically new. It may just take some time because it is a special car. This forum is just one avenue for marketing it, but it will sell and should be at a premium price. Good luck Mark.
