Is the ERL superdeck block the original LS7 or was something else used?
ERL uses a heat cycle'd stock block that has already proven to not fail and also be strong. The rotating assembly and everything else is aftermarket and fully built to include much thicker ductile iron sleeves(perfect for boosted applications unlike a stock LS7).
