FS: 2006 Corvette Z06 / LeMans Blue / 157 Original Miles / Collector Condition
#21
Panterawill, you are right. The person I bought it from owned it for 6 years and drove it one mile, yes, one mile. I can at least say I have put 121 miles on it. So with regard to your comment, I haven't lost out on anything.
Reasonable Suspicion, not sure where you were going with your comment, but I guess I will say "thanks". Due to the C6Z not being produced off the line anymore, yes, technically you are not able to buy a brand new one. This one is as close to new as you will find, irregardless of color, but even more so for this particular example being LeMans Blue. There are a couple of other C6Zs listed out there with extremely low miles, one with less than mine, although priced higher.
Just like C4 ZR1s with under 10 miles on the clock. To call those not brand new because of the year and not produced anymore would be foolish. Those are brand new, stored and preserved examples. This C6Z is just like going back and buying a brand new one. That's like saying if my C6Z had under 10 miles on it, was purchased and stored away, that it's still not brand new? Sure it is. Since it wasn't purchased by you, it doesn't mean the car is still not brand new? On the contrary, it sure is. Does the car need to be on the original MSO or never been titled, to classify as "new" in your view or are you hung up on the "year"? Hopefully you follow where this was going, if not, I understand.
Everyone is entitled to their own rationale on what they want to believe. Truth of the matter is, someone will purchase this Z06, as it is one of the finest "like new" examples offered anywhere, and will pay accordingly due to it's rarity (color, mileage, condition, etc.). Hmmm, paying $71,785 back in 2006, brand new in the showroom or $46,900 with a couple of hundred miles on the odometer and still in showroom, as new condition? I'd rather save approx. $25k. That's an absolute no brainer... Thanks again.

Well,..... This is your chance. New as new. Talk is one thing but buying late model, the newest you can get your hands on for what you have to spend makes sense. C-7s are the absolute design preference and resale holding venture in newer Corvettes. When I sell one of my 60s examples it will welcome a C-7.

Thanks, although not sure why people feel the need to respond to the thread if they are not interested in purchasing the car. It's a for sale thread, simple as that. Respond if interested in purchasing, if not, carry on in another thread. I think we are all educated enough to realize it's not "model year new", but as darn close to buying a brand new 2006 C6 Z06 as you will ever come across, period.
Shot in the dark or not, collector or not, small market or not, the car will sell to someone that wants the best, hence the right buyer. I have no problem waiting. Heck, there are 10k-20k mile examples listed for the same money or more that have been modded to heck and back. I wouldn't touch those with a ten foot pole. Thanks for the free thread bump.

PMs replied to. To answer another question asked by two forum members, I am not looking to trade up or down for another vehicle. This will be a cash / bank wire transfer sale only. Thank you to those who have recently inquired.

Thank you to those who have made offers on the Corvette thus far. The offers are starting to get in close proximity to what I will sell the Z06 for. I appreciate those that have inquired with genuine, legitimate offers.

Thanks again Paul! A couple of people are trying to figure out shipping options at the moment. Tons of inquiries, but no one has pulled the trigger yet. Have a great weekend!

Entertaining serious offers. Please refrain from "PMs" stating you are interested, have the money to purchase and then not returning any of my PMs. I would expect such from Craigslist, not the Corvette Forum. Happy weekend everyone!

Mid-week, to the top. Serious offers will be considered. Motivated to sell, but not desperate. No fire sale here. Thank you all for your continued support and interest.
