Lots of good C6s out there
For anyone looking out there. I just did a Cars.com search for '12 & '13 manual corvettes. I was surprised at what your money can buy you right now. Low mile base models in the low to mid 20s. Low mile GSs in the low to mid 30s. Found a Centennial GS with 20K on the clock for $35K. A rare Supersonic Blue GS vert with 36K miles for $35K. Doesn't bode well for the value of my C6, but it's crazy that you can get a near new, awesome car like this for the price of a new mid-level, boring family sedan. Nuts!

This will be my first Vette. I'm finding Vette owners to really love their cars... and the price! Where did 'a fair price for a good car' go? Perhaps I can find a better deal for the money on Cars.com. Thanks.

There are definitely some vette owners out there that are disillusion about what their cars are worth. There are also a lot that aren't really trying to sell, but if they could get $XX,XXX they might let go of it. Don't get discouraged from buying from a private party though. I would much rather be able to speak with the prior owner and gauge how the car was driven and maintained. Kind of a crap shoot with a dealer. Might be buying someone else's problems.

Here you go! Vert added a couple grand, but still an awesome deal if the car checks out.

I've been casually looking for a GS and what's amazing is that it seems like a lot of dealers from Car.com/autotrader have lower prices than private owners on CorvetteForum.

Talk to me more about cars that are "Rebuilt." On the cheap GS above, I spoke with the rebuilders. They said it had little damage (seat connectors & the low connections). They give a life time warranty. Yet, I also know that a Rebuilt title/car does not sell too good...

Yeah, you may save some money when you buy it... but you WILL lose when you sell... & if you have problems in between, it's on you! I wouldn't touch them if they have a salvage or rebuilt title, myself.
