Default [FL] 2005 DSOM Coupe; 1SB; 68,847 miles; Manual; $19,000

****SOLD*****SOLD*******SOLD****

For Sale is my 2005 Daytona Sunset Orange Coupe 1SB in Sanford, FL. (Orlando), Clean title, no accidents.
Car is a Driver not a show queen, but has been well maintained under my ownership, I am the 3rd Owner. I have had the car since 2013 when I purchased it with 48k miles in Jacksonville, Fl. Everything is mechanically sound with no issues, squeaks, bleeps or creaks. Completely Stock as far as drivetrain and engine, unless noted below.

Minor mods done to the car:
Stock 5 Spoke Chrome Gumby’s – Black Plasti-Dipped (best match on color to other black accents in my opinion, easily removed)
Skip-Shift Eliminator
Column Lock by-pass module installed (2005 had a column lock that tended to act up as it aged, this removed the column lock issue)
Window Tint
Lowered on stock bolts
Seat foam kit for saggy seat (required adding foam to the lower side bolsters and a heavy mat under the seat foam to not allow the wires to cut through the foam. I bought driver and passenger kits but only installed driver, passenger comes with car)

Maintenance performed:
Oil Change with Mobil 5W-30 every 3000 miles, Clutch fluid replaced at same interval. Last Oil change was performed at 68,500 miles
@60k miles – Flushed all fluids (Radiator, P/S pump, Brakes, Clutch – full flush, Transmission Fluid – Amsoil, Rear Diff fluid – Amsoil), Belts and Idler tensioner pulley
@68k miles – All 4 Hubs replaced (SKF), 4 New Rotors, Pads and tires – Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ (Stock sizes)

Cosmetics:
I would give the car an 8/10 standard curb rash under front nose from parking lots, etc. There is a quarter sized scuff on the passenger mirror where something rubbed the paint off (left car in a parking lot at work, saw it while returning to the car to go home, cursed a lot on that one.) See pics for details.

Why am I selling? Well it’s an awesome car that gives me a smile every time I drive it. But life has given me opportunities and allowed me to start looking at Gen 5 Vipers. I am only allowed to have one play toy, per the wife, so I have to let her go. Contact me through my email or PM: shawn.swindler@gmail.com. Title in hand.

For the 2005 model year, that's where they put the passenger airbag light (you can turn it on/off with the key in the glove-box). 2006 on they moved it into the center stack, but 2006 and 2007 they left the 'tombstone' there and either left a blank plate or the switch for the mag ride shocks, depending on the cars option list.

Yes, stock rear diff, just fluid change to Amsoil as pointed out. Had a rear-end whine and turned out to be the hubs, hence why I replaced them. Drives fine and holds the stock HP just fine.

Can't believe this has not been snapped up. I wouldn't trade my 05 DSOM for anything. Just an awesome color and have had 0 issues with mine and 74000 miles. Good luck with sell.
