Where is the car located? Is there a history of maintenance, such as new battery, tires, etc.?

Default Options & price

What options does thecar have and how much are you asking for it.

A few more photos would be nice.

Tracy, I'm sorry your dad did not get to enjoy the car. That is what they are for. Let's get the feedback from the Forum on the situation.

On one hand, you cannot beat the mileage and lack of wear & tear on this car! It looks brand new & anyone would be proud to own it! A dream come true!

On the other hand... it has not been driven & to be 12 years old with all original equipment... I'd immediately change the tires, belts, hoses and fluids... then, I'd be concerned for valves & all moving parts... and breakdown of gaskets... & of course, anything that could rust just sitting there...

Perhaps the car is worth $30k. I wonder what others think because I sure am not an expert, just a wary buyer...

The right buyer might pay a lot of money for the car, but I figure that it is worth about the same as a car with average mileage. I have bought several cars with extremely low mileage in the past, and I never pay a premium, precisely for the reasons that you mentioned. With new tires and all of the necessary service to make this a safe bet, I would estimate that the next owner should plan on spending an additional $2000. Once that money is spent, then it might be worth a premium over an average car.

One consideration when buying an older unused car is that the factory warranty was wasted. Any common problems which GM would have fixed under warranty are now the new owner's problem.
