I'm looking to purchase my first Corvette. I've looked at a few cars locally at dealerships and I've been less than impressed. I think I'll get a better car from the distinguished gentlemen here I'm located in Metro Detroit.

The car must be a manual coupe. I just got out of a convertible and I'm not really interested in another at this time. Looking to spend something in the $20-22k range.

Preferences
- Model years 06 and up are preferred but I won't turn down the right 05 if it comes along.
- LeMans Blue, Silver, White, or Gray (08+ unlikely at this pricepoint, I know) - Black, Red, Jetstream Blue, Yellow and Orange are automatic passes for me at this time.
- Z51 package a plus.
- No magnetic shocks

I am also located in Metro Detroit area and completely agree - cars from the dealers around here are usually not very good. I am looking myself for a C6z but if I see something that fits I will let you know.

I wondered about that car -- passed it heading to Rochester and something looked bad around the headlight. Can't imagine up close. My car was up at Serra GMC and it's gone already!

Yep, the driver's front corner had a rub. Both headlights were majorly trashed. Passenger door had 10-12 paint chips and dings. Clutch engagement was at roughly 90% of the pedal travel. Yikes.

I might sell my 2007 c6 m6 14k miles silver with black interior chrome rims base coupe. All stock super clean. I would want 24 to 25k. Im in SE Michigan. Im building an addition and could use the money but I really dont want to sell the car as it is my favorite.
