Default 2007 Very High Mileage Red C6 M6 in SoCal for Cheap!

Here's what I got. It's a 2007 6 speed 1LT in red with black interior. It's located in Southern California. It has 219,xxx highway driven miles, and I'd say it's in decent shape for a car of that age. It's perfect for a project, or if someones looking to build a track car, or someone wants a really cheap running C6.

Here's the Bad:
  • 219,xxx miles...
  • Small tear in baffle of drivers seat.
  • Top of steering wheel is worn out.
  • 2 tire sensors are bad (just show xx instead of tire pressure) easy fix.
  • ABS and Traction control lights are on after it got a recent brake job.
  • small nicks in the paint, and usual wear for a 12 year old car.
  • Shocks were replaced probably 75k miles ago, but it's not new suspension.
The Good:
  • Car was garage kept, so there really isn't any fading of the paint.
  • The interior and exterior are in pretty good shape minus the blemishes mentioned above.
  • Car runs and drives fine for a 200k mile car.
  • Water pump, alternator, brakes, all replaced in last 50k miles.
  • Heads were reworked a couple years ago (might be 30k miles ago, might be 60k miles ago, don't really recall)
This has been a great car, and very reliable for the mileage it has. But it's a 220K mile car. It has it's quirks. There's things mentioned above that could use fixing. I am going to put a price of $10,000 OBO on it and am willing to negotiate.

Yeah it has current registration and passed smog this year no problem. The cats were replaced a few years back.

I don't know this car or the seller, but I will add that I bought my high mileage C6 from this very forum 18 months ago for the same price as this seller and it's been brilliant. Freeway miles are pretty kind to Vettes.

Good luck with the sale.

Shipping is $4-800

What car can you buy with hp and sub 3500lbs

There’s 2 more things to counter 2 things.

I know the feeling. If you keep coming back to it though, it means you know its a good deal. When I had the same situation I told myself this was a good deal and if I don't jump on this, it probably means I'm not getting one. This looks to be a solid deal, so if you want one I'd jump on it or you'll regret it because all other deals you look at in the near future won't be as good and you'll be kicking yourself for passing it up. Also FYI I had my z06 shipped from Los Angeles to Wisconsin in a covered transport and it was 1800 bucks. Shipping isn't that bad when looking at the grand scheme of things.

Good luck to the seller! I think its very reasonably priced for the condition of the car.

I'm also in LA. If the repairs to bring her up to decent running shape including fixing those little things like the warning lights and anything else a prepurchase inspection might reveal amount to less than 1k, I could be interested.
