Been running a wet plate system for a long time on the same motor without problems. So far so good

Bringing this one back to life. Is there any solution for a pre-01 PCM which does not have the IAT vs IFR modifier table? I have a 2000 and use HPT.

Is there an OS update? Do i have to physically swap to a newer PCM like from an 01 or 02?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you

Jack

Another idea I had:

Could this same theory be applied using the ECT adder (since I have that one) ? I would have to change all of my adders in the 284* ECT tables, (spark, etc), but the end result could be the same, right?

They're both thermisters so it would work barring adverse issues with other tuning tables that use ECT vs XYZ

This is a great way to make a safe and effective dry shot. I am making about 110 rwhp with this method, and my car makes power VERY smooth doing it this way. There is NO risk of fuel puddling like a wet shot.

If you are on the fence about doing this....don't be.

Thanks Spin!!
