Finally finished.
I have been working on these suckers all day.
The epoxy just finished drying. Here is the finished product.
I tested all the sensors for shorts and compared terminal resistance to a new sensor to make sure they match. I also pressure tested them for leaks to 40psi .
I'll PM those that were interested in one.

I'm using the 2 bar sensor from the Cobalt on my ProCharged C6. Works fine. I don't expect to ever boost more than 2 bars. That would more than double my current boost and I doubt the drivetrain would survive.

You are forgetting that normal atmospheric pressure is already 1 bar, so a two bar MAP sensor can provide information for "normal atmospheric" (1 bar) + 1 bar = your 2 bar.

...so I am gathering that one bar = 14.7 = atmospheric pressure, so you can boost up to 14.7 using the stock MAP sensor and the 2.5 will allow you to run up to 22#? As a side question, how much boost can I run on a 9.5:1 427 on 93 octane with Alky Injection (100% mehtanol).

As for "how much boost" that's a trick question, depends a lot on how the engine was built, i.e. 4 bolt heads vs 6 bolt heads, what head studs there are a couple of different ARP offerings not just one and this will make a difference, and several other specs that matter as well. It comes down to the tune, the strength of the head to block bond as well as the engine valve train strength. Lots of guys push water around 18psi on LS2's with GM 4 bolt heads, but I have yet to hear any good evidence of what psi the heads are actually lifting... If someone else has some experience on this please chime in, I just haven't seen enough failures on FI LS2 cars to offer more than this...

Hey Guys,
Here is what the MAPs should look like on your PCM scanner.
http://www.dpecorvettes.com/download...nsor movie.wmv
I had one sensor sent out to Ed Traylor that showed no reading on the scanner. My guess is some epoxy ran down and plugged the hole on the sensor body since I tested all the sensors terminal resistance with an DVM. It was very tricky getting the sensors sealed on the side without running down and ruining the sensor. I had to toss 2 sensors before I got a technique down tha worked.
I plugged the rest of the sensors I had on my car to make sure they function properly and show a reading on my scanner. All were fine.
If anybody has an issue with a sensor I sent before I tested them with a pressure/vacuum source, please PM me and I will get another one sent out to you.
BTW, I'm currently sold out on this batch. I ordered 10 more GM sensors and 2.5 bar maps to make another batch.

Thanks Perry!!!
I can't tell for sure but it looks like you are still running the MAF on your car, I was worried about the 2.5bar sensor and MAF together in the system. Can you use the MAF for the first part of the tune and then go SD after it's maxed using the 2.5bar sensor?
Thanks again!!!

I dont think there are anymore bad ones, but just in case someone has an issue with a sensor I sent before I tested them on my car, please PM me and I will get another one sent out to you.

I guess we were typing the same thing at the same time.
That is what I am going to try and do Jeremy. I want to keep the benefits of the MAF sensor at cruising speeds and different weather conditions and use the 2.5 MAP to fuel my WOT tuning under boost where the MAF is useless.
I am getting a copy of a Beta 2.5 OS to test it on from HPT.
I hope I can get it dialed in that way.
I am soooo close to going with a BS3 so I am not limited in any way with these OEM PCM's.
I'm gonna give it one more try before the switch .

That's my goal as well, I really believe it can be done, we just need the software written to do it...
