W/416 LS3 stroker: max psi w/1500 paxton?
Does anyone know the max psi you can make using a 1500 or 2200 on a 416 stroker?

prob depends on compression too but i know the 2200 is good for 20-22lbs of boost effieciently. and the 1500 is about 17-18lbs. i could def tell ya as soon as mine blows up cuz that the route im gonna go.

You can make more with each head unit, but if you're looking to spin them harder than that, call Doug and he can set you up with a drive system to help maximize it!

Spin,
I don't think the 1500 will be able to supply that 416 with enough CFM past 5800 RPM or so...my guess is the power will drop like a rock past that point.

I'd say you might even drop off as early as 5,200 RPM. That 416 will be moving A LOT of air up top!

Depends a good deal on cam selection too, but I would think the 1500 would be a little small for a maximum effort build on a 416. It would make good numbers, and run a decent time in cold weather, but IAT's would get a little carried away in the warmer weather and drop a lot of ET because of it.
