Melting Slicks
I know the feeling... My Z will be getting pick up next week and taken to Race Proven Motorsports in Delaware to get the A&A kit with a Vortech supercharger. They are also installing American Racing headers and my Akrapovic cat back exhaust. Our cars should be pretty badass when we get them back.. Congrats buddy!!

Just kidding
I was able to at least work on it a couple hours after work, i was able to drain the radiator, install the new injectors and spark plugs, install the boost a pump
I soldered and heat shrink the connections, and wrapped some tape for good measure. Ran the wires to the front for the boost switch and hooked it up. Where are you guys mounting the boost switch? for now its just hoseclamped somewhere until i make a little bracket for it.
Hopefully tomorrow the crank will be pinned at least, but its going

Worked on it a few hours after work, power steering rack i hate you. But was able to pin the crank
Installed feedline. Was trying to drill the 1/8" pilot hole in the pan but my drill was too freaking bulky! anyway i turned it. Alot of places was closing so i ended up going to the nearest place which was orchard supply hardware. Ended up getting this
Was able to drill the pilot hole easy, then use it with the hole saw to cut the hole. Kind of scary with all the shavings flying around tapped it and cleaned as best as i could and installed fitting.
Called it a night, tomorrow will be a put everything back together day. Im trying to be done by the end of sunday.

Incredible difference in power. My two cent advice? Don't ever turn off traction control. The first time I did, I totaled the car. That should be included in the instructions. Andy made my car so fast. Enjoy. Be safe.

Sorry to hear man, did you get a replacement car? Lol i actually drove it today and didnt take the TC off because of your post, and the fact that i have 500 treadwear tires Still have to wait for my dyno day to give a fair review. but im excited

In my club meetings, never does a night go by where someone doesn't say, "don't touch the button". Lol. I lost that car a year ago. Flat, straight, and dry ground. Automatic. When it shifted into second gear, the left rear tire lit up and shot me up over the curb, up a huge dirt hill, then came to rest against a tree backwards. Blink of an eye, my perfect car was gone. I bought a 13 Grand Sport. 6 speed this time. Think I'll stick to my 75 shot of nitrous. One thing for sure, Andy builds one hell of an E ticket ride! I'm looking forward to hearing about your first reaction the first time that car winds up.
