Default **RSD Bolt In NHRA Legal Roll Bar**

RSD has developed a bolt in NHRA Approved Roll bar legal for C5 & C6 Coupes and C6Z06. These are all Tig Welded Chrome Moly with Swingout / Removable door bar. We even have a 6 Point option! The 5 Point unit weighs 42 lbs.

So many guys have been breaking the 11.49 barrier and a lot of them are C6 Z06's. Because of the Aluminum Frame of the C6 Z06 a weld in bar was not an option. We worked with a Local Chassis builder and he worked closely with several NHRA Tech inspectors, even sending desings to NHRA to get their approval!

NHRA's response was; "We think you are overbuilding it!" but OK approved!

Completely bolt in and you don't even need to remove the seats. This bar can be installed in your driveway, with no lift required. Because it is bolt in with no welding required, It comes powder coated Black Satin.

The Top still stores in the original locations on the C5 and C6 coupes perfectly.

Our Introductory price is $1150 + shipping. This thing come complete with everything except your basic handtools, all bolts, backing plates including Instruction Manual with photos.

You asked for it, RSD Delivered!

Order yours today!

Can you get this without the sides. It looks like aftermarket sets wont work with it.

That's awesome! Nice job on the seatbelt cutouts too!

Also, if I were to buy one of these could I get a copy of the NHRA "approval" to show to any tech inspectors that ask?

I need to weight the C5 one when it comes back from Powder coating this week. We forgot to weigh the C6 6 Point.

From 11.49 down to 10.0 you need 5 point roll bar, and halfshaft loops.

9.9 and quicker you need an 8point cage certified by NHRA, and faster than 150 you also need a parachute, and an NHRA License!

9.9 and quicker you need a 10 point. 8 point is basically a 6 point with 2 more down bars goin to trans tunnel. 10 point goes through the dash.

You need a 5 point Roll Bar for 11.49 to 10.0. Drive shaft/half shaft loops for 10.99 and under.
You need a 8 point cage below 10.0
