Yep, Mario gave some feedback, but I would like you to answer my question. I an looking to purchase this product with a good answer from the manufacturer.

Yes the “Flip-Drive” is reliable on long trips. The accessories don’t take much to drive; this is why GM uses a four ribbed belt to drive the AC compressor. We haven’t herd of an issue with this nor had we experienced it in testing.

You are more prone to failure from a single serpentine belt driven system, routing from the supercharger all the way around the accessories and back to the blower while cranking excessively down in an attempt to prevent belt slip.

The Flip Drive will also increase accessory life (alternator, power steering pump and even the water pump) when running a supercharger system. The accessories should last just as long as they would have without a supercharger installed.

It seems a very nice kit!

I really want to see some customer's review about this kit especially anyone who had a belt slippage issue and after installing this kit he had 0 slippage now!

If this is the case,, I will be in the queue to get this kit soon
(currently I have A&A 8-rip setup)

I ordered my kit today. I have a A&A 8 rib setup with a YSI and supporting mods. With a 10% overdriven crank and 3.00" pulley I am seeing about 13#s of boost and make 850rwhp. I am hoping to pick up a solid 2#s with no other changes and close in on the 900rwhp mark.

Thank you for your order…yes the HPE “Flip-Drive” kit will definitely net you those numbers and pick up nicely in the midrange. Post up your results and let us know what you think.

Julian,
I forgot to ask. But I already upgraded to a complete 8 rib setup on my z. I assumed that the 8 rib pulleys will be ok with the flip drive. Just thought I would run the 6 rib belt and just have the extra 2 ribs on the accessory pulleys. Please confirm that this should work fine?

Thanks
