Pending HPE Flip-Drive unit for $789.99 plus FREE GROUND SHIPPING anywhere in the continental United States!
As seen in our advertisement in Corvette Magazine, along with the
HPE supercharger kit, this photo shows a clear image/description of the
HPE Flip-Drive unit. HPE’s zero slip technology is obtained by the HPE
Flip-Drive, through the highlighted serpentine belts. Here you can see
clearly the functionality of HPE’s Flip-Drive belt routing.
HPE’s Flip-Drive system eliminates all excessive loads that a single
serpentine belt supercharger system incurs. Along with excessive loads,
parasitic losses are eliminated allowing boost to occur sooner with
increased longevity of belts along with all bearings in the accessories. The HPE
Flip-Drive has zero-slip technology, which allows for boost levels unseen
by previous single serpentine belt driven systems while retaining
accessories in their OEM locations. There is no need to relocate your
alternator, eliminate your air conditioning, and convert your power
steering to a manual steering rack to obtain higher boost levels.

The link below is to a 6 rib DISC forged 347 built by us that reached
21PSI with a 3.4” pulley. Our final rear wheel horse power numbers
through an automatic were 730RWHP. Our results were amazing with
back to back pulls, before snapping (on deceleration) a NAPA (K
060512) serpentine belt. Since then, we changed out the NAPA belt to
an HD gator belt with a reinforced backing and it’s still holding strong.
We have never found the limitations of a 6 rib setup but we concluded
testing when we maxed out a D1SC at 63,000 rpm impeller speed.

Will this work with the overdrive crank pulley? I cannot tell how close the two pulleys are to the crank pulley. I believe the overdrive pulley is only 1/2 inch larger, So it would be 1/4 inch closer to the pulley set.

I have one “Flip-Drive” left out of this batch before we start the machine again (waiting on the raw materials). Lead time for the next batch is about two weeks.
Any takers ?

Is this system safe to take on long trips? It seems to me that running a 6-rib off of a 4 rib that is being taxed by the AC-Compressor would not last long at all. I have also seen where others have had problems. I am not trying to knock the product, but want to understand more why you think it is ok to run all of this off of that 4 rib belt.

I personally think its very reliable and helps alot, the idea of running a one belt for the accessories and the supercharger unit is a potential for belt breakage. This unit helps in soo many ways, its an insurance for belt breakage, belt slippage and long life.

This kit is on my 2008 C6 and have been driven around for a while now without any issue, I even know a few with it and never heard about a complaint with long trips.
