Default Procharger P1SC-1 + Dallas Performance Intake

Is anyone running the Dallas Performance big mouth intake on a P1SC? I see lots of posts about running them on the F or D series Prochargers, but nothing on the P1SC. Would it be worthwhile to use it on the P1SC?

I think the Big Mouths require a "shorty" radiator., like the DeWitts model.

I'm running one. Not quite the same thing but close enough. I used their DP filter because they sell it separately and used a 4" angled pipe just like they do. Cost me $120 vice the $300 they want. Blower is P1SC-1. It will help on any blower and is not limited to the larger sized ones. No tune for it yet though so I do not know power gains. I am expecting 30-40 rwhp from it.

No it does not require a shortened aftermarket radiator like the Dewitts. You will have to do some massaging to the stock radiator for clearance though. I used a wood block and gently worked it down evenly. I trimmed the plastic shroud fan behind the radiator as well.

Did you modify the radiator to get it to fit?

Yes it's required. No way around it with a stock radiator. Already posted what's needed.

Are you all running a boost a pump with your setup? My setup currently is making 560rwhp with no BAP but thinking of installing one when I add the Big Mouth. Might do a meth kit at the same time too.

I ran on longer than I wanted to. Run a alky meth kit and love it. The Bap is coming off in favor of the Fore Innovations kit.

Bumping this back up. I have a p1sc head unit and was wondering if the Dallas performance intake kit would fit on my p1sc?

It fits fine. Just be aware of the stock rad clearance issues.

Yes I've seen where you have to bend the top "fins" on the radiator down and massage it a bit. Also what would be the gains with the big mouth be on a stock ls2 c6 with the procharger kit on 7lbs over the stock procharger air inlet.

I gained 45rwhp on an LS7 with probably 5lbs or so. I'd guess 25-40 for you.

That would be great! I sent them an email and he said the only problem would be if I have one of the older kits without the cradle drop and I think mine might be an older one. In that case I have to figure out a way to make it work I guess.

Wasn't even aware they made older kits without a cradle drop. Wonder how they got any intake on there at all. My kit was bought in 09 and is a base P1 kit with the cradle drop if that helps.

Yea I actually would think mine has the drop. I'm going to call procharger this week with my procharger serial # and see if they can tell me when the kit was made. Hoping to gain around 50rwhp with the big mouth intake, headers, and a good tune.

I must have an OLD Procharger kit on my car.... I see no way that Dallas intake would fit with the stock radiator and where it is at....
