Default Whipple Camaro vs my car?

I think this is on topic, but I'm slightly insane.

My brother in law is installing a Whipple on his Camaro, along with some other undisclosed foo foo parts. I should have never let him marry my virgin sister.

So, my question is, if he has the same HP to weight ratio that I do, can he beat me since he will most likely have more get up off the line? I know pd blowers take off quick. Centris have room to expand. Well, I'm not expanded yet.

What do you guys think? I lost a sister, don't let me lose a race. Actually I love him like a brother.

Yes, its one of them transformer things. Just like him. We used to hang out and party, now he sucks. Transformed. Sold his 67 GTO to buy her an engagement ring. I don't know if I hate him or her.

Change your rear tires to Nitto NT05Rs in 345/30/19 size as soon as possible. Make sure he doesn't notice. At this point and your power level this is your ONLY ticket.

Yea, encouragement is what I need right now. Money? I got. Patience and whatever goes with patience, I don't.
So, is a Whipple in my future? That ain't the right answer. I just need 700 HP to keep up with 550 HP on the street is what I might be learning.

Stock tires don't spin off the line with a Centri, the car acts like stock below 3200. That is one of the benefits driving it around town. No body knows its there. Bo traction issue thus far. It wont burn out from a stop without using the break.

In my honest opinion, for me, I should have went pd. I drive under 100 almost all the time.
I didn't come to this conclusion until just now.

Nope. Turbos.

Seriously, what other mods do you have on your car besides the A&A kit? You need stall, gears and retune. You are lucky to have an amazing tuner in your corner. I have owned Centri cars and pushed them to the max. Plan your mods wisely

I have no other current mods to my car, but after reading a post from the dude that owned a supercharger company and seeing what my tuner is doing to his car with the twin Turbos, I'm thinking a different direction already. My opinion only.

That's funny, but I'd rather him be doing a Mustang than tooling around in my sister. Thank you very much.

The blown camaros I've seen run mid to high 11's. What's ur car do? Are u gonna race him in the1/4? I think u will take him. Especially if u have an auto and he has a stick.

Both autos. I must say after driving it tonight with 93 octane instead of 91 and much lower temps outside, its running strong.

If its the big Whipple, you better watch out. I just completed my TVS2300 project on my Z06 with a forged LS7 and all the goodies that go with it. On a very conservative break in tune the other day, this beast made over 600 ft/lbs of torque at 3200 RPM and 600 HP at 4800 RPM, all of this came with only 7 degrees of timing! When it gets all the timing it should have after break in is done its going to be totally crazy!

Here is a picture of it at about 95% complete:

From the dig you would likely pull him, he is going to haze the tires completely. Unless he is smart enough to get some NT05s as well

My friend has a whipple camaro making 560rwhp. My z06 makes 550rwhp. From a 20-80 punch I had 4-5 cars on him. Not even close. Now if the power to weight is the same, I say it is a drivers race.
