Tin, same with you if you have the oil cooler.
They're journal bearing turbos, so you shouldn't really see a drop in oil pressure. 20-25 at idle is what I usually had when warm, but I believe it was closer to 60 when moving, that was with 10/40.

Carl, did you get the updated fitting with the dual ports for the oil cooler? On the oil sanwhich it will have to holes instead of one large oval.

i was seeing 20psi with 205f oil temps at idle(700rpm) and only low 40's at high rpms
the oil cooler lines didn't really like being bent around so i decided to see if getting the oil from another source would help the oil pressure.
purchased 15ft of -4an teflon SS braided line
-4an tee
M16x1.5 - 4an fitting (sold as an oil fitting adaptor for some Chinese turbos)
4 each -4an straight fittings.
2 each -4an 90 fittings.
passenger turbo line is 44"
drivers turbo line is 35"
oil galley plug to tee is 25"
oil pressure is now about 5psi higher at idle lowest ive seen was 25 at 205f oil temp, and now im in the lower 50's for psi over 4000 rpms..
the M16x1.5 fitting goes on the drivers side, right behind the front cover, is a plug that takes an 8mm allen key to remove.
ps. oh this is with the same mobil 1 5w-30 as well. i just filled up with some Royal Purple XPR 5w-30 and 10-44 filter, will report back if it increases any from that as well.
and i guess for my latest update. boost creep is non existent. but now i cant make more that 7psi.. =( the wastegate actuators that CK sent me had dual ports on them so i hooked them up like AEM shows. boost stays the same no matter what the settings are.. user error i guess. im taking the fenders back off and plumbing just the tops of the actuators and see if that helps,, otherwise, i guess i ****ed up and ported the wastegate too much.. FML lol

Thankyou for the great info Carl. If this proves to be better, and you can shoot me a link for that fitting, we may just opt to go this route. Sounds a bit easier and cleaner than the sanwhich plate.

got the oil changed,
the rp xpr 5w-30 feels like some thin stuff, and my oil pressure is around 23-24 now at idle...
oh well.. will run through this case then switch to 10w-40 for the summer months..
and i found out that you can't hook up the wg actuators like they are external wg's. the bottom port is not air tight and doesn't hold the flapper shut. i should of checked that before i switched to that config.
put it back to just the top port on the actuator and tada!! 9psi at 20% duty cycle..
think ill goto the track tonight.. 1/8mile... hope to trap 120..

back from the track,, did a test pass with b/c set to 8psi. easy launch 7.3 @ 103. meh...
then a radiator line sprung a leak. had to seal it with duct tape to make it back home..
a huge crash closed the track for about an hour anyways.. that was fun watching, up and over the wall..
p.s. NO BOOST CREEP, boooyyyaa!
will go back out on sunday... im hooked again! this time bc set to 14psi

Le Mans Master
It seems high because there is no meth, actually seems pretty good for no meth. But remember Carl is running E85 so the "cooling" happens in the combustion chamber.

good to see porting/opening up the wastegate hole on the turbine side solved the boost creep issues.
That was a trick we did on the Buick Grand National turbo V6's back in the day. Install a larger puck and open up the WG hole.
I'm curious how your car does with 14psi. Especially MPH.

1/8 mile is hard to pick up mph because of my 275 Hoosiers are pretty short. To shift into fourth before the line at 6500 it keep it in 3rd and spin it to 7100 rpms is holding me back.
Some 28" bias ply hoosiers will fix that after these tires are gone.

Ps did a pull at 14 psi shiwing off for my friend 4k rpms hit and ripped the tires loose at 100 mph. Not doing that again. Saving gas and my life. I'll stick to tuning the high boost on the dyno.
