looks great!

What is the maximum HP it would hold safley? I saw from some site that the carbon fiber version is limited to 1000hp but not sure about the correctness of this statment! Hope DSS can answer this!

The Pfadt one has been verified to 1350 ft-lbs of torque at half a million cycles, and has also been tested at 2300 ft-lbs. That's the one I use.

Its a nice looking peice for sure, but it had better be perfectly straight. GM designed the prop shaft to be used with them guibos. Pfadts driveshaft is designed with flexible couplings because of that.

Pfadts shaft is solid as well, it uses titanium plates.

We can't speak to the DSS shaft, but on our drive shaft durability tester we have torture tested our drive shaft for 500,000 cycles of 1350 ftlbs, then took the same shaft and it finally torque yielded at about 4500 ft/lbs. Ours is also specifically designed to use a specially designed flex disk to account for angular discrepencies that would otherwise be accounted for by the factory giubos. These flex disks remain stiff in rotation and give you the performance benefit of a billet coupler, but keep the shaft and bearings happy like the factory giubo.

The CF Driveshaft is a great upgrade, glad to see folks in here happy with our product as well!

It's a work of art to see in person... but holding it in your hand makes you feel like you got totally ripped off. It sure doesn't feel like what it costs. Haha. I had no increase in NVH with the addition of the Pfadt driveshaft. I'm a happy camper.

Depending on how much my wedding cost, I think a DSS carbon shaft is next on my list since my drivetrain is out for the fuel pump install.

My Pfadt driveshaft is still rockstar. I can't speak to the smoother shifting because a built TR6060 went in at the same time, but my trans shifts effortlessly. I have the RPS BC3 as well, which all helps. I drove a stock C6Z yesterday and it felt completely different.

I'd say the reason why I trust Pfadt more, but it'd be sure to spark a lot of BS. Lol.

We sell the Pfadt ones as well. They are great pieces. Albeit 1/3 more the cost of the DSS shaft. Also, Pfadt doesn't bond thier own units, they have it done somewhere else.

Either way, we have used both types an both have preformed flawlessly.

Thanks for the input everybody! Some have told me that the strongest drive shaft to get would be an aluminum one from the driveshaftshop. But race cars seem to like the carbon fiber piece
I'm in a pickle about which one to get! Also, do any of these upgrades come with warranties?
