The CTS-V calibration does have a small catch to it... The axis labels are different. The units are all the same though. This is easily remedied though because we can edit the axis labels as far back as 2006 Corvettes. Just change the axis labels to match the CTS-V file, punch the table in, and you're done.

And I did post the p/n. Nice and cheap at $20, and it responds pretty quickly.

the price is right...It looks to be screw in type? Did you just tap the charge pipe or what?

No space on mine to tap the pipe. I don't have mine physically in yet (plugged in the breakout harness and sensor just to mess with it). I will cut the center fin out of my manifold and tap it right behind the throttle body to install it.

I have considered doing the manifold location also, but was concerned about interference with the throttle blade. A couple of pictures when you are finished would be greatly appreciated.

behind the tb, you'll see three ribs extending from the front of the manifold to the first runner... i grind the middle rib down flush with the manifold surface and then drill and tap the manifold for the IAT... i am talking about a ls7 manifold, it should be same for a ls3 or ls2 manifold

Thanks for the precise detail. I assume it's a 3/8 npt tap?

Is there a risk of stripping the thread with the install or is there more meat to the manifold shell than one would think?

Ordering the casper harness, just need to figure out the IAT situation for my car.

I don't see the point of an IAT gauge. What am I going to do if I see high IAT's while driving? I sure as hell won't be looking at it while ripping gears with 800rwhp.

I just log the IAT's while tuning. I tell it to pull timing if they get higher than I saw while tuning. I adjust it a second time when the season changes here. I don't worry about IAT's again.

I agree about the IAT gauge. I do want to know how to setup the meth best for my A&A kit. They don't give you much room to put in the nozzles and another sensor.

You can see where I put mine in this pic. Dual meth nozzles in the last coupler before the throttle body. IAT sensor now in the intake manifold behind the throttle body. This is an LS3, for what it's worth. Used a breakout harness from Casper's that made it all a plug-in deal.

Street14k, I saw that picture searching. I'm just not sure I can drill my Fast102 like you did for the IAT or that is the route I would be going. Anyone drilled a Fast for an IAT?

It's really just a matter of finding a flat spot to drill. Then I just found a very tight-fitting grommet and used a push in sensor.

Other option I looked at was having a 1-piece charge pipe made, and having the maf bung welded much further forward. Then I'd have more room to mount the nozzles and sensor in the piping.

I actually bought all the parts to do it, but decided to go the other way. Let me know if interested, I can dig up the gm part number for the maf bung.

Yah, I'm considering that option. What I could do is just cut the 60 degree pipe 2-3" shorter. Move the A&A maf part forward. Then have another pipe fabbed up with the nozze/bung in it to put after the maf section. Or just get a one piece pipe, or even just order an ECS intake pipe if that would fit. There are a few options, just trying to keep it easy. I could take off the fast, drill the back for the map and extend the wires and put the map in the back of the Fast, then put the IAT where the map is now.
