Default FS: Darton Sleeved 427" Turbo Motor NEW!!

**UPDATE** Due to a calculation error, I have lowered the price significantly

Hey All,
I recently sold my TTi-X kit in order to build an all motor 500+" RHS setup.
So now, all I have left to sell is my Turbo 427" longblock. By swapping out the cam, this would also be an AWESOME blower motor.

The motor was machined/built by (Steve from R.E.D) in oceanside, CA. As those of you who know him, he is among the best in the business. He is also the patent holder for the darton sleeves.
The block started out as a Gen IV 5.3 aluminum block. We had it machined, and new darton sleeves installed. The block was also machined to accept 1/2" ARP head studs, and a billet steel main girdle.

What do you get?

427" Long block, ready to install (9.4:1 compression)
Components:
  • Callies 4" Compstar crank (24x reluctor)
  • Callies H-I beam rods, w/upgraded rod bolts
  • Diamond -23cc custom pistons
  • Total Seal gapless rings
  • ACL coated main and rod bearings
  • ARP main studs
  • ARP 1/2" head studs
  • Cometic .051" head gaskets
  • DM Performance billet steel main girdle
  • Melling 10296 Oil Pump
  • N-Motion dual roller timing set
  • Custom Turbo grind cam (The one that is in Champions 1100+hp motor)
  • Caddy Racing Lifters
  • Comp dual spring high lift springs (good to .675")
  • Comp 7.800" pushrods

Heads:
  • GM LS7 Heads (New bronze guids, new seals, new seats)
  • Ferrea Inconel Exhaust Valves
  • GM Titanium Intake vales (ceramic coated)
  • LS7 rockers with comp trunion upgrade

Block:
  • Gen IV Aluminum LM7 block, re-sleeved by RED with Darton sleeves
  • Line Honed Mains to .002". Rods at .0022"
  • Durabond 1 piece cam bearings
  • Decked to 9.232" (Custom pistons matched for 0 deck.)

This motor was built to be a solid powerhouse. We wanted no chances of hurting the motor at the 1K hp levels. Mainly it was built for solid reliability. We went to great length making sure the motor would not only withstand the boost, but run solid for the life of the car.

If you have a 58X reluctor 06+, being that the motor has never been fired, or had oil put in it, we would be willing to swap reluctors for 100.00

I want 9,500.00 shipped to your door. I am not open to trades, discounting, or breaking the motor up.

If it doesnt sell within a week, I am keeping it for our other car.

I accept all forms of payment. If you want to pick it up, we will discount it by 300.00.

Hmm I have been thinking about doing an lsx swap into the chevelle with a 116mm turbo. Then again maybe I should finish one car at a time lol...bump for a great seller and vendor who has always taken care of me.

If you do get a buyer for the motor minus the cam, I would be seriously interested in the cam. GLWS!

No problem..
If it goes in our other car, we are going to yank the cam, and install a blower cam.
The cam was spec'd bby Rob @ Champion. It is the same one they use in their cars with the TTi kit with their DP's and 6265's
I am not 100% sure if they would allow the specs to be released, but I have seen them and they are spot on..
I will let it go for 250.00 (when the time comes.)

9500.00 shipped! You can not build this motor at home for less than this, let alone have it machined by R.E.D. for this much.
