Default First F1X C6Z

Goofed around last night on the dyno. This car used to have a F1A but now has the brand new F1X. Cartek bracket with 8-rib belt and no slip!

Quick rundown... 441ci RHS block with LSX-LS7 heads and a F1X, ID1000s, triple 340 pumps, and an Alky Control meth kit.

This vid was the first dyno pull with waaaaaay too much meth. The car is nasty, and the F1X is barely being spun.

Sounds wicked. I'm looking forward too seeing what those blowers do.

Your post is cool and all but I find your need for attention tasteless. You don't post rwhp number but you post a link to a even more boring video with no clue as to what the car put down in the description or the vid its self.

Real classy

I like it, F1X, RHS, FTW.

I also realize after 12-14/plus hours of work, sometimes spending 30 minutes to make a detailed post is not on the priority list.

Really? You want to be a total douche with a post like that? It's not a need for attention... It's a "this is a new blower, and here's a C6 with it". I'm pretty sure this is the right section to post in, and plenty of people post very similar stuff showing new builds and parts. Sit down and shut up. Next time, I'll be sure to post how many gallons of fuel are put in the tank. The video was more meant as a means to hear how it sounds, which is quieter than the other F1 blowers.

I thought the video showed the power numbers... Guess I forgot it didn't. I didn't take the video, and didn't post it to YouTube. The car made 1000whp and 800 ft-lbs barely spinning the blower. The old F1A setup made 900/800 spinning it as fast as possible with so much belt tension that the belts kept coming off. It also slipped like crazy. The F1X is also SIGNIFICANTLY quieter at idle and part throttle than the F1A and F1R. I was hoping that the shop would want to push the car, but Ben didn't want to get greedy after just putting it together. I can't say I blame him. A smaller pulley is in the car's future.

Steve, thanks for the understanding!

Sick, thanks for sharing Dave. What kind of power is the blower capable of achieving?

Probably 1500whp if it really got pushed. This specific car is at 80% IDC right now, so it'd need ID2000s to keep going. That also assumes the fuel pumps keep up.

Damn, needs more fuel pump even with a triple setup like that? I'm not well-versed in the FI game but wow, that's some serious fuel requirements.

Thanks again for sharing

DSteck,

Thanks for your quick response I appreciate the detailed post. I will say two things one, most on this forum members are going to be more interested in the efficiency of the blower (hp output) that the acoustic sound it produces. Second, sound from Internet videos are for the most part unreliable due to many factors such as the mic quality of the recording equipment, speaker quality from the receiver, background noice, ect. For example I have heard P1sc blowers sounds as loud as F1R blower in videos to give you an idea.

Adding a sentence of information like "oh by the way it made 900 rwhp on 4lb , F1X is amazing" is not going to take but a couple of seconds. Im not kicking the build because it's top knotch but, the burning question will ways be "what did it make", it the nature of the game.
