Default What happened to the Kenne Bell kits?

What happened to the Kenne Bell kits. From my research it looked like TPE was installing some KB setups in house and then looked to be producing a kit, but every thread I have found on the subject seemed to parish in mid 2010.

Does anyone know if there have been any developments in getting KB's in C6's or if TPE sells the kits or will still install them in house?

On a similar note is anyone running the Whipple kit?

Seen a few whipples. They are nice. Definitely a good option.

Good Lord, do not even get me started on this topic.. Kenne Bell and Corvette do not need to ever be spoken in the same sentence again..

Kenne Bell abandoned the C5/C6 market, that is the bottom line.

I get the feeling there is a very big can of worms under this post...

For a Mustang maybe, but not a Corvette. Fitment, heat, etc.

The fact is that the systems were poorly engineered and did not perform very well. High IAT issues, Airflow issues, even with SERIOUS re-engineering the systems still do not perform to a high level.

Kenne Bell no longer produces the C5 system and never brought a C6 kit to actual production to the best of my knowledge.

If you really want to dig up the pails and pails of worms, go do some digging in the C5 Forced Induction Section.

Friend put one on his ls3 car, runs great. Camaro guys are loving them. Only downside the vette whipple kit is needing a hood.

Wrong post.

I believe I was the victim of the damned auto-scroll / suggested posts again. I repeatedly disable it, it continues to rear up on me.
