Heat Soak with Eforce Supercharger
Hi all,
I'm beginning to look at superchargers for my 2013 M6 Coupe. I'm leaning toward forced induction and specifically the Edelbrock Eforce as it retains the stock hood, which is a real plus to me. One thing that I see lurking beneath the surface of discussions about this SC is heat soak. Would any of you have knowledge about heat soak with this SC?
I don't drive my car that much, but it would be considered a daily driver if I did. I may take it to a drag strip or more likely a road circuit on rare occasion when an owner's club holds such an event, possibly annually. How would heat soak affect my engine and performance if I'm stuck in traffic or driving one of the events above? How about if I'm out for a pleasant drive somewhere?
