I´ve installed a KB BAP once and it was very easy to deal with it (in a C6 LS2 Vette) and S/C.
It was done in less than one hour. Just cut some wires in the rear wheel well and route a cable to the engine for the pressure sensor. That´s basically about it.
Yep. I have two running like this. I did have problems with the Magnavolt (BAP) from Magnacharger. It went out and was replaced with the KB unit. No problems with them after quite a few miles.
Judging by the voltage loss through the small (18awg?) wire going to the pump, I think the Racetronix harness should be one of the first mods to these cars, blower or not.
I agree the harness is a must. Works better and makes the install easier too. I know a few guys using the BAP from Vortex wiithout issue and I believe it is the same as the ECS BAP. If ECS sells and uses it, its pretty sure that its good.
Thanks for the info guys, Im going tt and wasn't sure what other options were out there besides kb. I will defiantly be getting the hot wire kit and most likely the kb bap. This is sorta a band-aid for the time being before i have to pull my tranny so i will do a fuel pump then. What pumps are direct replacement or would an inline pump be way easier?

Same exact thing in my case. Magnavolt crapped-out after a couple years.
Installed KB and zero problems since.
