The death of the roots supercharger?
I was looking at this months C&D and noticed that the injectors for the DFI enter the combustion chamber from the valley side of the cylinder head. With this design, it looks impossible for a roots type supercharger to work, so I was wondering if a C7 ZR1 would continue with FI, or change to TT's or a centrifical ?
Also, seems that the variable displacement feature might have to be disabled for any FI setup ?

Just have to space the PD blower up and over that. Probably can do it, just need a big hood or something for the height.

Well, I have egg on my face. I was again looking at the cylinder head design and I was wrong about the location of the direct injectors. DUH !
They are located on the exhaust side of the head, which would allow for a roots type sc, ala ZR1.

Just fry a little Bacon to go with those eggs and you will have a balanced breakfast. No harm, no foul as they say.
