Default Aftermarket alternator

Lot of threads about that but is there any proven (issues free) alternator for c6 corvette?

I have additional electronics like:
Externel fuel pump
EWP
Four fans
Four gouges
Exhaust cutout
Alky meth
TCM 2000
Pioneer unit and two speakers
Not sure what else!

What brand is recommended and what amp?
(what is the stock amp?)

stock alternator is part number 25888970 and rated 110 amp

ok, when was the last time you had a Generator in your car as opposed to an Alternator???

if you look up parts in the GM part list, if you look for Alternator.. you find nothing!
they are listed under Generator. (i know they generate.. lol)

Taylor at DP installed one on my blown vette and its in a billet housing.

Check with him!!

It seems the DP performance are using the nations alternator, I might go with their xp290 amp series.

Anyone tried the DC power alternators?

Thanks all for the help and recommendations!

Now my next step to see what is the size of those alternator + how to make a bracket as the stock alternator now has no clearance with my taller valve cover

Call dallas performance.The one they stock works flawless. My volts are rock steady at any RPM range. With the stock one i was bouncing all over the place. Car was getting stranded on the road.i have the following

twin fuel pumps
huge menzeire water pump for the air to water intercoolers
turbowerks oil pump for turbos
alky control meth kit

By the way, just installed a new set of Pfadt headers. I need to talk to you about trying to dial in that idle injection timing. Emailed Comp Cams and they weren't any help in getting me those specs.

I contacted DP and it seems I will go with the nations XP 290amp,,,

My system randomly loses 2-3 volts while idling, which makes the idle dip to 600-700rpm. It's worse with AC on. I haven't replaced my battery yet, so I don't know if it's actually my alternator.
