Default safe nos shot

just purchased red 89 with a lingenfelter super ram 383.the motor runs great no smoke, ratles,super strong.it has a nos system with two tanks i do not want to damage motor with nos.100 or 150 shot should be safe.i have never owned a car with nos before and i hate to take it out its a nice set up.

Might want to repost this in the (proper) C4 section. LSX platform in this section is a completely different motor than your LT based stroker.

I had a 1985 vette years ago with a superram, heads , and nitrous. Those superrams are horrible for proper air distribution and I blew two motors in that car. It was a beast though. The torque was insane.

start small and monitor the afr reading and make sure the system is operation correct before openning the bottle... see rich afr from fuel when activation at WOT.... fist!

activation at higher rpm is easier on the shortblock.

Let us know how you get on and some 1/4 mile times N/A vs Nos.

the previous owner said it will run 10.8 on motor and 10.5 with a 150 shot.since this is the c6 section I purchased this car instead of supercharging my c6 and racing it.for about the same money i still have a 600 hp car and not bang up my c6.
