Shouldn't call your customer a dumb ***, even if he is one.
I think if you learned to drive a stick properly, you shouldn't need to change those gears... Swap it to an auto....
Seriously.... I have nothing intelligent to say on this topic.

Just an FYI, I've been to 172mph in 4th with the factory gearing and a 27.4 inch tire at 6800rpms. Calculator won't show that, but factor in inflation. Glad you're not tuning my car.

Hey Mark... don't pay attention to these guys comments. I think its the mustang in your name that's making them nasty.
I am not really sure on this, but last I remember reading, no one makes gears for the Z06 diff, which I think is the same as a GS manual diff. I would give RPM a call and see what is available, if anything, before killing yourself on this decision. They are very helpful guys.

Thanks Jody.. Actually bruce has been talking to manny.. They do make gears but they are pretty pricey.. I think he's also going to change the carrier..

So you are saying someone makes replacement gears for a GS/Z06 Diff without any modifications? If so please let us know who it is.
Not sure if this helps, but when i did the gear swap in my 2010 Camaro i went 3:73's it was an auto. All the shops were doing 3:73's for autos and 4:10's or 3:93's for stick cars.
