Default Motec M150 to Vette with factory BCM?

Anyone built that?

Current plan is move to after market engine management and Motec M150 with many extra options will be the choice.

Taylor at Dallas Performance has some experience with Motec. He's a dealer and a master installer. there is one in my country not sure how is it and what's happen to the car cause I haven't seen it for a while, mostly using a ProEFI and no one had an issue with it, am going with ProEFI for my next project.

We have 10+ Haltech Sport 2000 ECU's running in conjunction with stock ECU... You should have no problem doing that with basically any aftermarket ECU. The nice part about the Haltech system is that they make a plug n play harness that goes between the stock E38 harness/ECU, this allows for a quick ECU installation instead of wiring everything in. With no additional inputs/outputs you can have a Haltech Sport 2000 w/ PnP installed real quick, take you more time to R&R the fender/wheel/liner than installation. Of course we always add goodies like the anti-lag, no lift (For manual cars), etc.

I will be talking to the guys at ECS about the haltech, hopefully the software doesn't suck like the ProEFI software.

I don't see the need for a Motec ecu. ProEFI/Haltech will probably be easier (with the plug n play harnesses) and more cost effective. yes not the same options but will probably be enough.

Yep, no problem in conjuction with Stock ECU but we have planned to do this without it. What I have spoken with Motec master installer here, this should be possible to do but huge work.
Let's see what happens.

I like those stands you are using to hold the car and the other one for drivetrain especially.

Well, plan still is build it to work with factory BCM and instrument cluster..

I took lots of extras like
- LTCD 2-channel 4.9 lambdas
- E888 can expander, 8-EGT's
- M&W CDI ignition
- GPR
- Level 2 Logging 100ch 200Hz
- GPS
- Complete new engine/tranny wiring harness

Price range including tuning on street, airfield and dyno probably 10 k Euros..

I would use Haltech, they have a plug and play harness and they work awesome in the corvettes.

I spoke to both Eric at Haltech and Some guy from Motec at PRI last year and it really doesn't seem like the dollar value is there for Motec. The new Haltec Elite ECU is pretty bad *** and a fraction of the cost.

IMHO, the MoTeC system is one of the best, and the M150 is just an amazing ECU. I have talked with Chris at D3 about the system extensively.

Personally, I would run the MSD coils, or if you want to shell out the coin, the IGN coils are the best on the market.
